OK, I will aim for 6:30
That (in case you didn't know) would be half way between Jennafur and Senadin scheduled arrivals!

Anti Elvis, it's on your way home, pop in as you go by, maybe we will still be there.

When is the next one? A wed night would work for me. I am in Edmonton right now, but I will be back in Calgary by Sunday. I would really like to start meeting some of you after being on here for so long. Cheers all, and pray for me since I am up here. Lol.

Well originally these posts were about getting together for coffee night but evolved into let’s meet at FATS instead, which was an accidental hijack. So this past week, the coffee location was FATS for pizza, wings, beer and NTN.

When is the next one? Well it depends on peoples schedules and they should post here if they are interested in coffee night.

There is a thread for FATS, which is a pub, even though they serve coffee; it is not the same atmosphere, so may not appeal to people looking for an actual coffee shop.

In the past the group that went to FATS usually went on Tuesday or Wednesday because that worked with our schedules, which is always changing. That doesn’t mean it has to be limited to those days or even FATS.

Wings and beer is just as good as coffee. It is more about meeting people where they are most likely to be theirselves. I am in for any Wed after 8. I really need to get a life beyond work. lol. Does that sound to needy? Haha

I have revived this thread to re-create a Coffee Night to help with any cabin fever that may be onsetting those that hate to sit at home!

This week on Wednesday, January 7th, I will be at the Pit Stop on the S. E. corner of Barlow Trail and 50th Ave. S. E. at 8:00 p.m. Lots of free parking on the east side of the building. They only have one waitress on after 7, but once you get your coffee should be good for a few minutes!!

To access this restaurant off Deerfoot Trail, take the Peigan Trail exit, go east to the first light, turn south at 26th St and follow the road into the parking lot (south side of 50th Ave.)

Anyone interested?? Join me, and we can then dicuss logistics of other venues and/or nights, gotta start somewhere!!

I could be interested in that too. I have been sick all weekend, but if I am feeling up to it I would be there. Man, these short message messages are really making me mad. Lol.

Hmm, Wednesday is generally comedy night, but I am trying to watch my beer intake, and cash outflow. Coffee is probably more friendly for both of those goals.

Not sure if I will get there or not, but it is a possibility!

See you there Duff...that's just a few blocks from where I work!!! I tend to stop for coffee on my way in (work 5 evenings a week in that area) but this way I'll get a little socializing in before I start. Kewl!

Like the idea... swamped at work for the next little while.
Perhaps at the end of the month?

Enjoy your coffee!

I have consulted my Magic 8 Ball and the answer is "all signs point to yes".
So I guess I'll be showing up there as well - sans puppy this time though.

As it is now 8:30, and I am apparently posting in various forums, I think I have missed the 2009 inaugural coffee meet.

First I missed the first breakie of 2009, and now the first coffee meet, what next?

Wow, maybe it is a good thing I couldn't make it. I am a salesman after all. Lol. I really wanted to go but this flu has had me down for the last 4 days. I am hoping that I can make it next week. Maybe there will be more then just two people this time.

Bringing this back to page 1. Will try it one more time to see if there is interest.

Drifters Restaurant at 08:00 p.m. on January 14th.

Their wings are not too bad tasting!
