| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 2/4/2006 2:00:11 PM | | On line it was, at Craigslist, last year. We are still together. Both of us are in our fifties, and neither had been married before. I have never had a long relationship. Maybe this time, but life is a longshot bet. | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 2/4/2006 4:32:11 PM | I met my last boyfriend at work; same for the other long-term relationships I had before. Guess I'm working too much! I just joined plentyoffish, maybe I'll meet the next one here, who knows? By the way, I take the chance to say "Hi" to everybody here, and good luck! | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 7/18/2007 9:18:36 AM | Met my late wife through a mutual friend we had. Within a week of meeting her, we were essentially living together and ended up married for 17 years. After she passed, I met a woman I ended up dating for better part of a year through grief counseling session for our children. She had lost her fiance about the same time my wife had passed and we just hit it off. Although the dating part is over, we're still good friends. Oh....meeting someone at grief counseling is not highly advised! | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 7/18/2007 9:31:32 AM | i met my last long-term bf when we were both attending art school...we were in related programs with a few overlapping classes, and everyone just seemed to socialize together. it resulted in a 2 year common-law relationship.
as for cg5000's suggestion to get off the net and look closer at our circles of friends and co-workers...while i have a diverse group of acquaintances, the majority of my closest friends tend to be gay...haha kind of limits my opportunitites. as for co-workers...flirting is one thing, but dating....oooo that's a bit of drama i've been through before, and don't particularly want to risk again. | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 7/18/2007 9:38:37 AM | | I met my late husband at a mutual friends party in 1984. As an ice breaker he approached me and asked me to dance, but, there wasnt any music playing! Lol. Anyway, we ended up experiencing how good we were at kissing. We married, had one son and he passed away in 2001. It was a great marriage , he was a great man and we have a great son. | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 7/18/2007 9:48:09 AM | I met him at a bar downtown (April 2007). My cousin made me go against all intentions i had that night. Once i was there we had such a good time. The bar was filled with mostly black men, which was wonderful for her..not for me. So i said "the first cute white guy that walks in here is mine!"
Not two minutes later HE comes walking by with a group of friends and we both stared eachother down. We end up talking, then dancing, then exchanging numbers at the end of the night. Turns out we were both there unintentionally, so we chalk it up to fate for us to meet.
We've been together ever since
