we just spent lots of time around each other and then started doing stuff away from the larger group, just the 2 of us
and so now it is just the 2 of us getting together with the bigger group | |

Last August, we met thru a forum game of emailing.
We met in person in September and thankfully we are still together.
Before the net,
I met my son's dad right downstairs from where I lived.
I was with a friend and we went to get pizza from the store right next to my building.
He bought our slices for us.
Thats where we met and after bumping to him a few times, we became quick friends and fell for each other.
That was 20 years ago. He passed away 3 years ago.
I have been lucky to find love close to home.
This time(over 10 months ago) sitting on my butt at home, reading through the forums and emailing...
and then finding out he lives about a 10 minute walk away from me. | |

Met my ex-husband in a chance encounter at Tim Hortons coffee shop. I dropped a $20 on the floor when I pulled my money out, and he retrieved it for me. He asked if I would join him for coffee. I would normally have blown him off, but he was so obviously nervous it stopped me... he was courageously asking me in spite of his shyness. I was totally charmed and disarmed and agreed to join him for a coffee. | |

My Ex, I met her on a 4 day cattle drive near the foothills of Alberta. I had the opportunity to see her at her worst, she looked like a mangy old dog; wet ,cranky, tired and farting from all those beans... | |

I think a good place to meet as most ppl have stated here is at work..you get to know the person in everyday life.

free of her leash and lunged at me. my ex girlfriend jumped on the leash with
her body, like a baseball player sliding home. i was impressed with her
agility.
we started talking probably from nervousness....it seemed like a random
meeting,but it was my longest relationship

To be honest, she had set me up with another guy that night (she thought it was her duty to find me a man! lol), and my husband ended up going, with a bunch of her other friends. Technically, the first time we laid eyes on each other, was when he got out of his car at a stop light, knocked on the window, and said, "The go pedal is on the right." LOL Apparently, it was fate.  So, me, being the nice person I am, gave him one dance that night, but besides that, stayed with the guy my friend had tried to set me up with. 2 weeks later, my husband and I were attached at the hip! It stayed that way until he found another attachment! | |

He found me on another social site and neither one of us could remember where we had met before (my high school days are getting a bit blurry ) so we decided to meet up and figure it out.
We looked at old yearbook photos and I couldn't believe how different he was. Now I'm not a girl who is into badboys, but he was a an absolute punk in school. But these last few years had really changed him for the better. We ended up talking about the old days and our old friends until I was too tired to drive home and ended up staying over...
For 3 days.

Last boyfriend at a football game. I usually meet guys at work ( I work in a hospital) and through friends, although their "ideal guy" sometimes isn't mine....but their bf wants a date for his friend. | |

I'm not going to fvcking school anymore!
