| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/9/2008 4:43:13 PM | | I met my last g/f at a brothel.Well, it lasted an hour. And was actually cheaper than all the wining/dining-BS.Seriously my last g/f was a barmaid. It was great , you could pick the nights she was working and it would save you a cab fare home. You couldn't be so rude as to leave before she finished work could you?In the meantime I could get well and truly slaughtered. She saved me a lot of money on cabs and alcohol. Why did I let her go you wonder?. She was a nutcase. | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/9/2008 6:07:47 PM | my LAST girlfriend picked me up at one o' those applebee's/chili's/whatever's places where they all wear lots o' "flair" and smile too hard. we had both been stood up by our dates; hers, the guy she'd slept w/ a couple o' nights before, and mine, some fellow, nameless, POF'er who'd tricked me into thinkin' she was 2 different people, in an insidious scheme to "prove" i was a "player"...! [kinda like in ANY TV-show or movie featuring twins, only MORE bitter and twisted, and w/ the role of the evil twin played by the same actress] so, anyway, i'm flirtin' w/ the adorable hostess, workin' bein' stood-up to my advantage, when this customer starts hornin' in and messin' up my "groove." she then offers to buy me a beer, and, a bird in the hand bein' what it is.... i got sucked in...

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/23/2008 8:54:34 AM | ...( this was pre-internet dating days)....so ok me and my friend were sitting around on a Saturday nite totally bored so we decided to make random crank phone calls - I know , I know, real mature right? lol So anyways during this high brow entertainment, one of the people I happened to randomly call was a guy with a kind , sweet voice which drew me in and piqued my interest.. something clicked .... So we talked normally and in fact talked again the next nite , sent pics to each other, surprisingly we both liked what we saw, a week later met and that began a 8 year relationship lesson learned- don't take life so seriously have fun it may lead to great things / it pays to be immature sometimes.. | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/23/2008 9:05:48 AM | Contra dancing.
He was the first person I'd ever said anything flirtatious to. I'd met him at a dance in March, didn't go to another dance again until October. He asked me to a waltz and we started chatting. When I said I hadn't been there since March, he asked what brought me back and I gave him a sort of a lame answer. "No, really, what brought you back?" he asked. I smiled at him and said, "You did!" It just came out of my mouth! We started dating in January and were together four years.

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/24/2008 4:51:11 AM | Man, I must be meeting the wrong guys. I get asked a lot at work but I'm not into any of them. Get stared down while walking on the sidewalk, and at school, still nothing comes of it. Even pof has it's downfalls, met a few guys on here, hit it off, but of course none of them ended up working out. | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/24/2008 6:31:13 PM | Well here is my story and I am sticking to it...it may be a little long like some others but it is my story.
First time I met my ex was in Middle School...it was a dare by some classmates of mine. "Hey Wes, if you go grab that girl's butt you can hang out with us!" I indeed went up behind her and squeezed her right butt cheek and she turned blush red.
Needless to say, the classmates all got a laugh and said "Do you really think you can hang out with us after pulling a stunt like that?"
Next we met in High School...I was a Senior and she was a Sophomore...I was in a few clubs she was in and she had a reputation to hold so we didnt see each other much in High School other than the fact of one of the teachers had a Youth Lock-in at his church and She and I were there...we could keep our eyes off of each other.
I graduated High School and lost contact for 3 years. When I met her 3 years later it was in Drive-Thru at the local Burger King. I saw her in the window and as a habit I looked on her ring finger...saw a ring there but it wasnt a married band so I asked her, "Are you married yet?" She replied, "No, not yet but would love to be" I left it at that...got my food and pulled away...I looked in the rear view mirror as I pulled away, she was halfway out of the drive-thru window. I wondered, "Should I go back?" Well I didnt.
Conclusion:
I was at a revival at a church in the community. I was late arriving so I sat at the back since the church was packed...and when the guest minister told everyone to stand up and sing, she turned around and our eyes met for sure this time. At the end of the service, remembering how things were in high school where she had a reputation to up hold...I went to shake her hand. She responded, "I can't shake your hand, I gotta hug your neck" We talked to each other everyday for a month when we got married, that lasted 9 years.
Since then I have met a few online through Yahoo and POF...none panned out so here I am!
Sorry for the long story but that is just it...my story!

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/25/2008 9:25:28 AM | I'll mention how I met the guy I'm currently seeing, because I think it's something more people could make use of. I met him through a mutual friend. I started letting friends of mine know I was looking to meet guys and I'd ask them, "If you know anyone that you think we should know each other, will you let me know?" In every case they'd answer, "I can't think of anyone off the top of my head," and I'd reply, "Fine, but just keep me in mind if you just happen to meet a guy that you think I should know." Months later I'd get a response from someone and this led to three interesting meetings. Two were fun dates. The third guy, my friend said to me, "I keep thinking you and my friend ____ should know each other. " I said, "Introduce us!" So he brought him to a dance one night. We hit it off but it took almost two years before he decided he was ready to get to know me better. However, we've been hanging out lately, it's been a lot of fun, & neither of us is sure where this is going yet but we're enjoying whatever is happening in the here & now.
I never would have thought to ask my friends. It came as a suggestion from a young friend of mine who was my "dating coach."

| At work ... Posted: 8/25/2008 3:18:43 PM | | I tend to agree, but in my workplace (elementary school), there are a lot of women and we do have things in common. A lot are married, some sub teachers are single. I dated a co-worker once and we broke up, it was awkward when we saw each other at work. But we learned to live with it. No choice ! | |

| Where did you meet your last boyfriend/girlfriend? Posted: 8/25/2008 5:44:49 PM | Met him here- Saw a forum thread he started about ass to mouth -could not stop staring at his picture. Went back like a hundred times to that thread- and not because of the subject matter. Emailed him and lost my soul.
well well well. Shit happens here.
The one before that in my driveway- he was helping my Brother with something. I came home from work, walked up the driveway, said Hi and the rest was history, well that summer was.
Good times, good times.
