Sddude, first don't put yourself down. That's not attractive to women. I looked at your profile. You are not bad looking. Now your height does hurt. I suggest shoes that would add 1" to your height and yet not be obvious that's it's your shoes and that is tall enough for 1/3 of the women and that is plenty.
You do live in a place with very high male female ratio. Of the ten cities over 100,000 population having the highest male female ratio, 5 were in California. Since you work for the government you can certainly transfer to the District of Columbia. On good man can service ten women so there should always be more females than males. What is needed is a low tech war that will kill a few million of us in the U.S. and a 100 million of us world wide. That or find a way to produce more daughters and fewer sons. | |

Even a fairly unattractive woman can get laid pretty much whenever she wants but even a good looking guy could go months if not longer to find a woman to go out with .
When it comes down to just sex woman have the pick of the crop every waking second which must feel pretty nice if you ask me, but if your a guy it is a 100% reversal unless you plan on paying for it.

Really!!!!!what an awful thing to say...as if we arent losing enough of our men and women to war right now...
and OP, not all women have the upper hand some do...I can agree with that but, then again some men do too...and I think a lot of good advice has been given here if you sift thru and find it I think if you take some of it...it can benefit you...
and the guy complining about being short, dude...my nephew is 4' 5" and just married a 5' 8" woman who is beautiful...so height has nothing to do with it...good ppl don't care about height...it all has to do with attitude | |

I wanted to add, after looking at your profile, the short hair/clean shaven looks SO much better on you! It makes you look younger too. I wish you the best of luck, keep your chin up and hang in there! | |

And you have determined this how exactly?
Perhaps if said woman wanted to go out and have sex with one of the seedy guys who keep escort services in business, risking picking up whatever sort of diseases he has or the wrath of his wife, sure she could "get laid" whenever, but for those of us who want someone to whom we are attracted and who is clean and healthy, the search is just as hard as it is for guys. | |

Posted: 2/28/2007 9:25:46 AM | Come on guys, it only takes a little communication to tell the woman you are dating, seeing, or with, what you want, and women please listen to what this guy is telling you. I know that at times we women wish we could read our man's mind, but you know the simplest tool for all of that is to listen, observe his body language, and overall don't assume. Not all women are psyhics, and not all women can read minds. So if you both are a little nice about what it is that you want from one another, this whole topic would come easier for the both genders.
My ideas on this as a woman, by all means read on:
I don't think that the issue here is whether or not women have the upper hand, I think the issue is that women get catergorized about doing things that they are not supposed to do.
My related idea to all of this is that life is to short, the thing here is that women feel that if they engage to early that the man they like so much will reject them and want nothing more to do with them because they gave in. Well in my greatest of thoughts, who cares. We as women have needs to, so why would you hold back?
The times have changed, give it a week see how you feel, if he strikes you as someone who turns you on, then go for it, why make your life miserable when you could have shared something intimate with this person. Besides you know your a match when you can share something so personal. If he is not the one you want then move on, they do.
Women just don't want their hearts broken, the healing process takes forever and the trusting issues take even longer, so I suggest that both sexes sit down and discuss as openly and honestly on what they are expecting from one another and what they want. Gees it is so simple.
