I am 5'6 and a very independent and strong woman, even physically. So I want a man who is stronger and tougher than I am.
So a shorter guy cannot be strong or tough? I guarantee that I am stronger and tougher than you are. And probably stronger and tougher than most guys taller than me. I am at the gym 5 - 6 days a week doing both weight lifting and cardio. Kind of strange to me that you would want some skinny 6 foot tall guy as opposed to a shorter but physically stronger guy. Your logic is flawed.
For me it has nothing to do with reaching something off a top shelf, but has everything to do with knowing I have a partner who can defend me if it becomes necessary.
Another flawed piece of logic. How many times in your life has it been necessary for a man to physically defend you? And if that moment does ever arrive it is far more about a man's attitude and willingness to engage than it is about his height. In my life I have backed down many a guy taller than myself simply by exuding a willingness to engage.
Your rationalization is embarrassing. why not simply say you are not attracted to shorter men. We all have preferences and that is ok. However, to deny your preferences and hide them behind some bullsh*t excuses is inexcusable.
Just be honest, it is ok to have preferences. | |

What is it that makes a man not attracted to a gal that is the same age as them or a tiny bit older ...Being 52 myself i would just like some insight on what men feel about dating gals who are the same age...
 Oh some will argue it's a preference and not the same thing...cause they can't help how vertically challenged they are and it shouldn't be a factor cause it's biological and sh!t to spread their seed to procreate and make more shorties.
Midgets on here sure have strong opinions.

Posted: 7/7/2009 10:16:41 AM | | i don't really know how to explain it. but i am just extremely turned off by short men. i have to have sexual attraction to a man along with enjoying his personality. i have never been sexually attracted to short men. the shortest guy i dated was 5'8 and that's pushing it for me. i am 5'1 and have no qualms about defending myself or being independent. but i have a strong presence and i don't get the feeling from short men that they do. of all the shorter men i have dated, they all seemed to have weaker personalities. i'm NOT saying all short men have weak personalities, because i have dated some really tall men who have. i honestly don't see myself being in a relationship with someone shorter than 5'9 in the future. but who knows, ultimately you can not control who you fall in love with. | |

I know what you mean. Men shorter then I am feel slightly feminine and dainty to me. It's not that they are feminine or dainty they just feel that way to me.So unless you are into chicks and like that female vibe then this will not work.
