Gone Before Goodbye
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven,
And bring you back again.
Since I cannot climb to heaven,
I get on my knees and pray,
Hoping that God takes my life too,
So that I can be with you one day.
When you left there wasn't a dry eye,
Because we didn't want to part,
Now that you are gone for good,
There is an empty space in my heart.
No one can take that empty space,
Because that belonged to you, my love,
Having you in my life was a treasure,
And I know you're watching me from above.
Since you're gone I try to stay strong,
But at night there were times I cried,
Because I never did get the chance,
To say goodbye, no matter how hard I tried. | |

all of being everywhere
Sent it in an email to her friends
and asked them to pass it on
Was this right of her to do
or should she have reason to be gone
A question of what was spam
and being in value Canadian Ham
Maybe she should have read of Moses
who said in words - I am than I am
To be yourself and know this was right
not to worry about others who criticize
For you never had the foggiest clue
that day she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize

a layer of skin
that's the thickness
of the sickness
it's not just being unhappy
it goes deeper
deeper than you can think
it's grey to black, not pink
it's all on the inside
just under the skin
in the cave on the dark side
on the dark side of life

The enviroment is dying
Why is it you can't see
The land you are killing
Is also killing me
You destroy all you touch
Taking all away
The wild life no longer
Have a place to run and play
You say it's for the best
You seem to know so much
Then why do you destroy
Everything you touch?
The skies once blue have left us
Now gray is all we know
While you call it progress
We all begin to slow
You take away our sunlight
With the pollution that you grow
You have killed the farm lands
No longer can we sow
Our rivers pump full of oil
You so carelessly spill
The grasses are all dying
There's no moss on the hill
The mountains they are dying
Their snow caps melting off
If you call this progress
How much is the cost? | |

I look into the windows,
The eyes of every soul,
I take all their feelings,
My emotions never grow.
Span onto the past,
The battles of their woes,
Task not for my eyes,
My spirit ever grows.
A man assaults a babe,
His eyes stare like a blade,
Hot feeling runs my veins,
My eyes I cannot shade.
This girl she sits so still
A man looks in her eyes,
Rage is strong and powered
I can't believe his lies.
I resolve to watch the mirror,
My look is cold and stale,
To many lives and falsehoods,
My own thoughts I cannot hail.
Don't bring me to the masses,
Send them on their way,
I don't believe in contacts,
Tell them all to step away.
The look would age me tenfold,
All atop my soul,
I choose to be reclusive,
Emotion such a goal.

A woman looks into a sphere
What she see's, not yet here
The bead of sweat, upon her brow
Dreaming, wishing, it won't be now
Each day she moves with caution thus
Her thoughts array, with dust to dust
Actions with others make no sense
Thoughts of demise, still keep her tense
She blocks the way for socialize
Looks at the sphere, empty eyes
Meaningless talk, to herself and back
When will her world, quickly turn black
Time moves forward, months into years
Cracks on her face, trails of tears
She sits in a chair, rocking so slow
Her name and her world, neither she knows
Out of the window she stares, glory and wonder
The beauty of nature and all of its splendor
A tear slowly drops, happiness stops
When will her being soon plunder
This sphere now sits on a wood stand
Looks at the woman, forming no plan
The loss of her soul, began long ago
Her body is not yet, put below.

God of thunder
Lifts his spear
Listen close so you may hear
The mountains above
Valleys below
Time has come for you to know
That all men need walk
Hand in hand
To spread peace throughout the land
The tides they crash
Oceans roar
Beaches erode
Soon they'll be no more
Flowers will wither
Life will die
While you sit and wonder why
Time it passes
Slips away
Soon there will be
No place to play
When you look up towards the sky
And the moon has turned to blood
Rivers rise over their banks
Causing a massive flood
Animals perish
Starve and die
Again you ask and wonder why
Life we knew now has changed
There is no longer an open range
Pastures and meadows
Are now all gone
How is it we can continue on
Take my words and follow his plan

Reminds me of a song can't remember the name of it but a little section went like this:
"I like to see the world for once all standing hand in hand and hear the echo through the hills for peace through out the land.Thats the song I hear let the world sing today...a song of peace that echoes on and never ever goes away."

Death to Daily Bread

To have died last night
waved goodbye to what was good
Taken a step toward an ether
death eternal - nature lost
No value left in daily living
for who or what did care
A life empty - void of reality
stolen in innocence to encounter
This unsavouring of daily bread
the flavour tainted to taste
Gone was any worth
as to need over want
Just a ghost of a skeleton
flesh entangled upon withered bones
To have died last night
waved goodbye to the end

attention seekin
altered reality
some things not worth keepin
the art of a crime committed
is not to leave clues
it's not the motive unknown
that leave many confused
little lies
twisted tales
trying to remember
words not to use
memories shared by
someone who cares
can recite you
verse by verse
but when it all changes
alarm bells are ringing
suddenly all you say and do
are under inspection not known to you
now you have been caught
trust is broken
was it worth all the risks
thats now left you chokin
you knew from the start
that deep in your heart
walkin close to the edge

peace and love

Mass destruction everywhere
Doesn't look as if anyone cares
Where is the grass so green
How long since it's been seen
The trees are all falling down
Just for progress to take the ground
We can't breathe for the air is gray
Make it stop, make it go away
The children need the sky of blue
Sun to shine on morning dew
A place for them laugh and play
How can it be for we took it away
When you look into their eyes
You will see no joy and surprise
For what we give them here today
Was not ours to take away
