Well im just wondering where and how all fellow POFers came up with their user names? im not sure if this thread has ever been posted b4, but here goes.I chose mine, Twisted40 cuz im 40 yrs old and i like the smirnoff twisted vodka coolers.
I've been asked this alot in personal mails... and it's a long one to explain.
I'll start by saying I'm NOT a huge Alive in Chains fan... It had a lot to do with how I felt when I broke of my relationship and moved out. Everything I owned was in a box; my whole life, and pretty much myself -- in a box. Everything just made me feel boxed in... my car... my apartment. It's also because I'm lost and profound. Any time you loook at somebody and think that this is one type of person or another, Basically you are placing them in a catagory, or a box... much like you would when you are moving... this is kitchen stuff... this is bedroom stuff... LOL So my other related feeling is just that when people loook at me without knowing me they pretty much lump me into on catagory or another... pidgeon holed me... peg me... basically put me in one box or another. The happier side of my screen name is just as simple as a gift. Unwrap the paper, and look inside the box... look there's a gift.

Posted: 8/14/2007 9:43:47 AM | The very first time I was asked for my opinion as a child my reply came out something like this...I was 6 so cut me some slack here..."I'm Not Perfect Yet and probably won't ever be but at least I'm willing to try and I'm NOT a crybaby...that is C's (my brother's) problem not mine...I already told you...I'm"...and so on. I've always said it and it stuck. My daughters and friends sing out if they are trying to find me and as my first name is rather common (not that I am by any means!!), I don't answer so they started singing out NPY in the local store and it seems that once you are stuck with a nick it never really goes away. *LMAO*
And as for anyone who is going to cruise the profile...I don't eat at the married meat table so forget that supper idea. I'd starve before ever doing that!! And no, I'll never be perfect but then again, I'll never try to tell/show you that I am perfect and so, I'm okay with that. *grins*

It took a while finally to choose one that fit me and the situation.
I like all animals but I have always liked cats, and I even have some of their characteristics.
I like to walk alone at night. Nobody ever bothers me and I don't really know why.
I am a nice, easy going person as long as I'm not crossed.
And finally, I really do have the patience of a hunting cat. | |

A playboy is a man, who lives a life of pleasure (sexual) and fun. He's more often then not rich. He PAYS girls to be with him through trips, gifts, dinners etc. These girls are with him because he is paying them for their sexuality. They WANT to receive HIS BENEFIT PACKAGE.
A "Worthy Playboy" on the other hand, is an intelligent, kind, understanding person, who cares about others. He doesn't PAY people to be with him, they are with him because he is INTERESTING, and makes them feel good abut themselves. They WANT to be with HIM.
I'm working on more and more becoming that man. I'm a playboy...but I still am not so Worthy of what I have yet.
