Posted: 11/2/2007 11:11:38 AM | You women haven't heard the new prime age for a man is 55...ok maybe I was dreaming but I'm sure I read that somewhere!!!! ladies go have fun, Just be happy, everyone has to look in the mirror everyday, what you see is what "you" have to live with...

Exactly. Most I've met my age or older are too...I don't know, settled, intense and sometimes extremely bitter if they're divorced (or just out of a LTR) and judgemental about anyone who doesn't share their way of life. Some also use the excuse of being over 30 for gaining weight and not staying in shape. Not for me...I like to have fun and stay active.

I agree with ugly Betty on this one. I get asked out by younger men mostly because I enjoy taking care of myself, enjoy all the latest fashions, love cool music and like doing fun things and sports. Guys my age and older don't have the same interests as I do and most are looking bad for their age and don't care what they look like. The worst thing is, is these fat ugly bald out of shape men think they should have hot women. If that's the case then I might as well put on 300 pounds start wearing spandex and let myself go. NOT!!!!!

I have found, that with my interests that it seems to be the guys that are younger that are interested in the same things, but, I wouldn't discount anyone based on the year they were born (well.. too young and I'd be, um, no). I'd even go so far as to say that I was a little weirded out about dating younger, but again...I wouldn't discount someone based on age, it's just a matter of being on the same page.
I think in either gender, there is an attraction to a certain vibe. Perhaps there is a mindset of an age group that has that more prevalent, and based on experiences with those that aren't of that group, people who fall outside of that get the shaft. It's unfair, but it happens. | |

Posted: 12/30/2007 11:38:42 PM | I dont know,,,,it seems that younger men like me,,,,I was asked out by a 21 year old on Friday night and a 24 year old last night. When I was 27 there was a 19 year old at my work that had a huge crush on me. My relationships were with guys my exact age, but this 24 year old has my attention. I was thrown back about the age, but decided not to pre-judge him because of it. I think he is mature enough to know what he wants,,,,and I wont be rushing things with him,,,so time will tell. Older men so far dont really do it for me,,,,maybe it's because I never really dated one.  | |
