| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/21/2006 5:32:23 AM | | dbndon: I disagree with what you have said. I married a man 11 yrs my junior and that marriage lasted 25 yrs. so I don't think it is something that we will grow out of or find our way back from. Just my own experience and my own thoughts on this. | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/21/2006 10:27:58 AM | | I have nothing against Ladies dating younger men.If it's OK with guys why shouldn't it be OK for the ladies. The fact is that i don't believe that love and relationships should be based on one's age.Being in the same age group does not secure a relationship.Don't discriminate against someone because of their age. | |

A quick glance at your profile shows you to be 53 now. Which means that you were about 27 and he would be 16 when you married. 53 and 42 is a workable spread. No comment on 27 and 16 -- but I guess you made it work. .

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/21/2006 7:13:26 PM | | What is an actual significant age difference? I am 32, so, someone 6 yrs younger than me is not all too bad, is it. I find men my age boring.......hung up on sexual issues....and, boring, or, did I say that already? | |
|
| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 12:41:20 AM | dbndon....your comments are actually a perfect example of why many women would and do prefer younger men. Yes indeed, many older men are...boring and judgmental. Being attracted to someone younger does not mean that we have lost our way in life...or that we need to get back to your vision of 'reality'. | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 1:23:29 AM | I'm one of those women who date younger men. It's not intentional it's just the way it turns out. I do look younger than I am so I tend to have younger guys approach me. I also find that a lot of guys around my age or a bit older look and act a lot older than me and I don't find that attractive. | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 2:53:48 AM | some guys prefer older women because they don't tend to play games anymore..unlike SOME girls 'round 19-24 where all they wanna do is fun..for older women they're already done with all that partying..they're still awesomely and incredibly fun but they're not gonna screw with your head anymore.which is really freakin sweet! | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 3:28:03 AM | . Oh, cool, guess I’ve been told and set back in my “old” place properly:
dbndon....your comments are actually a perfect example of why many women would and do prefer younger men. Yes indeed, many older men are...boring and judgmental. Hmm, well looking around a very large family and a dozen or so friends who are all well married offers me some insight for my “vision of reality.” And, were I not a widower, I would still be among them.
Am I “boring and judgmental”? Judgmental, for sure, as everyone is. Boring though? Well . . . you know absolutely nothing of what I do all day, every day, so that’s nothing more than a frivolous and gratuitous accusation thrown out for effect. We’ll just consider the source on that one.
Ah yes, so I go to the profile to see a little about who is speaking here. And, what do I see? Something that brings it all into proper perspective:
Ok, here's the thing, I thought I knew what I wanted...but then reality hit and I realized, I really don't have a clue. There we go. A proper statement concerning the issue. I can shut up now. LOL .

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 8:46:41 AM | Ah, you're right...because I am not sure right now if I am ready for another serious or long term relationship,( after being married for 15 years to a man MY age, who chose to have an affair) I must be a poor source of knowledge and information and someone not to be taken seriously.
Those of us who are not desperate for a long term serious relationship right now, and who's priorites are their kids and furthering their education and therefore have no desire to write a serious, in depth...'I want to find my true love' type of profile are just not worthy.
You obviously have very little perspective or insight into my life or that of anyone who is different from you. And, thank god most people are indeed different than you.

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 8:53:43 AM | | As long as someone isn't breaking the law--i.e. dating a minor--I could care less who other people date, whether way older or much younger. It's none of my business. | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/22/2006 3:00:19 PM | | Okay guys - why would you date an old, hairy, shriveled, wrinkled man when you can have someone younger, sexy, toned and full of life? I'm 30 so I'm not over the hill yet, but I'll be damned if I don't go out on dates with a few guys in their 20's - Besides I look like I'm in my early 20's anyway... You never know who you'll connect with, age is but a number... | |

i agree, im 26 and all i wanna do is party... i guess i can see some appeal to older, more mature women.. but hey you're only young once right?

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/25/2006 8:42:25 PM | | to the person above my last post.. i agree that old old men are ick..but then again, it's an aging process and we all go through it... while personally prefer not to date guys over 30 unless they LOOK younger, I don't think that all men that age look bad.. it's the same with women.. some people look hot..some don;t.. some have good genes..some don't... the media has 30 year olds playing 18 year olds and 40 year olds playing 30 year olds..which is why we all think 30+ looks bad... this is for both men and women btw...on y n r thad luckinbill plays a 21 year old...he's 31.. i mean really...the media presents such a false sense of reality..ive stopped watching it.. gah! | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/26/2006 4:04:56 PM | | well if we are talking 26 Wayyyy too young for me but I generally date younger then me... but I am talking youngest would be in the area of early 30's... I have tried dating men my age or older but generally have had ZERO success... I am a young spirited "almost 40 yr young" lady so I find anyone my age or just a bit older have less in common with me. Especially when it comes to music tastes... which I am passionate about. | |

|
| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/26/2006 11:00:30 PM | kc-guy... who was that question to.?
And im going take it that you meant has anybody who is with an younger man, ever been out in public and somebody walks up and ask's you to introduce you'r son.
Because they are/could be thinking that the young man is you'r son, not that he is you'r boyfriend/husband.
Right? | |

| Ladies who only date younger men Posted: 2/27/2006 7:05:28 AM | Ok, well I should get into this conversation. I will be the big 40 this year and I honestly never thought I would date someone way younger than me. Well I was talking to this guy on yahoo. And he is 28, we had a nice meeting this past Friday and we are going out tonight Monday. This has thrown me for a left curve. But we will see what happens. So you never know. | |
