Posted: 1/28/2005 6:55:06 AM | Ok, you guys have had some bad experiences... but hows this?
Met a guy on THIS SITE... he seemed cute, even though the pic wasnt perfectly clear... always really sweet in his emails, and chatting on MSN msngr, but a reeeeeeeeeally bad typer/speller. however, my ex is an incredibly intelligent person, but couldnt spell "cat" if you spotted him the "c" and "t", so i didnt think much of it. so we chatted for about 5 months, he only lives 20 minutes from me, and one night i was locking up my office around 4am and wanted to go to denny's . i mentioned it to him and he popped up and said hed go with me, pick him up and wed go to the dennys a mile from his house and itd finally be an opportunity to meet, yada yada yada........... i get to his house, hes waiting outside and gets in the car and i realized hes shorter than i thought-- no big deal, right? we chatted on the way to the restaurant and get inside and sit at the table..... he looks up and we finally get a really good look at each other......... AND I REALIZE HES MILDLY RETARDED.
yeah, i was sweet, kind, funny, and when my food came i was so exhausted from working 20 hours straight... "dude im really sorry... just not as hungry as i thought. my head is killin me and i feel really queezy... thanks for hangin out though, nobody else wanted to sit in dennys at 4am with me" etc... got my food, slung it in a box and took him home.
we get to his house and his mom is standing outside in their yard, and jerks the door open and drags him and says "GET IN THAT HOUSE RIGHT NOW! and YOU young lady... i KNOW what girls like you want with my boy... you sluts just want to take advantage of him because hes not right... stop trying to use my baby to get knocked up and get his social security check! blah blah blah"...... i didnt stick around for the rest, slung my explorer in reverse and peeled out, while the neighbors were outside at 5am staring at me... yeah.... id say that was a pretty bad date. .. . | |

I have to say I feel really bad for the guy. I won't say you did anything wrong although you could have taken just a minute to tell Mom that you and her boy were just friends and went out to eat. The way it ended he just had another experience that shows him he is not normal and that women only want to be around him for his check. I know you didn't reinforce that by your actions but by just a few minutes spent talking with his mom so he knew you were a friend would have gone a long ways for his self confidence.
I would say his date turned out just as bad if not worse than yours. | |

Posted: 1/28/2005 2:45:11 PM | ok. let me clarify. i tried to explain and she told me to shut up and kept screaming at me. i emailed him and tried to get him to explain and she got on his MSN and kept calling me a slut. she also continued to IM me with demeaning names and phrases, and each time i sent a message to her explaining, she again responded with hateful namecalling and such. but... thats after the date. i recall the post was about the date, itself.. right?

Posted: 1/28/2005 3:47:00 PM | I met this guy online and we hit it off. We talked every day on the phone and sent pictures and notes thru the mail. He lived in Texas and I lived in Pa. After a while I decided he wasn't all that great but he had already bought a plane ticket to come see me for his birthday. So I had no choice, I figured what the hell maybe he'll knock my socks off.
I went to the airport to pick him up. I waited a while cuz I thought traffic was going to be bad but it wasnt.
So after an agonizing hour his plane came in..he called me and told me what he was wearing and then I saw him. He was at least 40lbs skinnier then I inagined. He twitched uncontrollable and had a horrible slobbery lisp.
He didnt book a hotel, he had to stay at my place. I didnt know what to do or how to let him down easy. I told him my knee was hurting and I had to sleep on the couch. Thats not the clincher. The second day he woke up from bed, came into my living room with his scrawny self and sat on the edge of the couch. He woke me up and proceeded to ask me to Marry him!
Long story short I made some excuse up, sent him home and broke all ties over the phone

Posted: 2/3/2005 11:45:11 AM | The Desaster. I was looking on line one night when i saw this ad. I am only little, i want someone to love only me, even the way i look. Being a softy, that ad melted my heart, so i answered her and told her that little was a good point for her and that i would bet if the truth was known , that she wasn't that bad lookling either. She ate it up and wanted to meet me soon. So i told her to be sure she had her friends there with her and i went to meet her. I was there a bit early and just about backed out, thinking just how ugly she might be. but decided i could take anything one night , and at least give her a thrill.I finly iwalked over to where we were to meet .A tiny little thing walked up to me and said Tony? I looked at her and said sarah? Whats this about you being ugly? why your a cute little thing . She ducked her head and turned red. we then met her only two friends , an older guy and his girl, and we ate and then they showed me where to go and we went to a fancy clothing store and the girls modeled different sexy clothes for us guys. then they ask if i wanted tio drive to the lake? so we did. and it was night by then so we built a fire. this girl walked out to the car and brought a blanket back and lie down on it and lie down beside her. She was so starved for affection that you can guess what happened next. Then on the ride back to town she kept giving me little girl kisses , which were so sweet. When i got home she had emailed me and wanted to meet again the next week .
But that was the last i saw her. She was 20 , but momma had sonme kinda hold on her and i got an email from the police in her town, telling me that her mother was filing stalking charges against me and to stay away from her. Her mother even tried to l trick me int comming back by emailing me and prentending to be the girl, I sent the girl an expencive presant for that christmas but never saw her again .And that1 was my worst , and best experance on the net. It was the worst date, and the worst day where I wasn't at work or home- in a long time!
This guy messaged me like crazy. I was idiotically anxious to meet someone I met online, I am obsessed with first-time incidents.
He sounded sweet and we had some nice emails back and forth. I spoke with him on the phone and could hear a woman and another guy screaming at him in the background.
He then turned into a pervert and was asking me about anal sex and every inappropriate sexual thing. He concluded that he needed to 'f*ck my brains out'. Now, ordinarily I would hang up at that point.
I don't know how many brain cells of mine have to be lost, but I agreed to meet him, partly because I was in the area and needed a pit stop.
It turns out that he lives with his mother.
When I got to the door he acted startled, he didn't say anything at all. He still didn't say anything and carried a slice of pizza and can of pop with him he was eating outside. He was annoyed that I came during his dinner even though I told him exactly what time I'd be there. I said that I hadn't eaten all day, he didn't offer me any pizza or invite me inside. I thought the truck outside was his, but it turns out he doesn't even have a vehicle. I again felt like ditching him but he was really intimidating. I thought he'd chase me down and sit on me. I normally don't have a problem with overweight people, (I am one myself) but he barely fit in my car. I realized that he lied about his weight, big time.
We stopped at a c-store (another chance to ditch him I missed) and he bought a pack of smokes with a debit card then we went to a pub. He mostly ignored me and played video games. He then became very rude and started yelling at me on political topics! I wanted to leave so badly but he insisted I pay our bill! On the ride home he started touching me, I tried to play it off slick as I could.
He called and IM'd me obsessively. I couldn't get anything done. He thinks we're starting a relationship. I am his main activity even though I tell him to go to hell often. He's probably reading this as well. Next time if there's anything I don't like about someone, I'm leaving! | |

I agreed to meet a guy I met on another site, just for a coffee at Starbucks. When I arrived I saw him sitting at a corner table, but I went up to the counter to order my drink and then I would join him. When I turned around, he had left and his steaming cup of coffee was still sitting there. I thought maybe he had gone into the bookstore to get something to read so sat down near his table and waited. He wasn't returning so I went into the bookstore and saw him there...I headed towards him and he saw me and turned and ran like a scared rabbit.
Not sure what his problem was. I have met plenty of other guys for a coffee and they all say I look as good or better than my pictures so it couldn't have been that.
Yep...I have to write that book. | |

We had chatted on and off for a fairly long time. He seemed incredibly normal and safe. I arrive at his apartment and we have a drink and start to watch a movie.. so far so good. He gets a phone call its his mom, he starts his conversation with his mother and he reaches down and unzips his pants and pulls out his erect penis and points to me and then his penis. Posted: 2/6/2005 10:55:13 PM | ok i meet this girl, pick her up at her house....her idea. she gets in the car for 2 seconds, then runs back inside saying she forgot her phone. 10 minutes she is in there. she comes back out and tells me she has to go with her aunt to take her cousin to the hospital and she will call/come by later. ok no big deal.....til i get home and realized i got played lol. didnt hear from her for a week. go into a yahoo chatroom, and see her in there chatting with other guys LOL!!! i guess she had me on ignore, she wouldnt answer me. i make a new screenname and contact her, she says i didnt have enough $$$ for her. then a couple days later, she strips on webcam for me (i didnt ask her) and her panties say "not4u". great story  | |

Then I figured I would meet her 'cause you never know. Told me when we have sex for the first time she wants to stick a dildo in my butt. WTF?!?!?!!?!?!?!!? Told her I would not have time to talk for a few days, as I have this HUGE project at work, not to even try calling til the end of the week, I am not going to be able to talk. I meet one for a coffee and a movie.. She was 36 working at McDo but wanted to be prime minister. I tried to explain the way it worked a little bit to get to prime minister, but she did not belived me and told me I was stupid... It did not went well.. I drove her back home and she invited me inside, I was polite about it and said No, she slamed the car door like a savage... She called me the day after! I told her that I was not interested and she, once again told me how much of an idiot I was...... Was very interesting!!!!!!

But this was not a date, but a meeting...
I met this guy online, we chat for a few weeks and then exchange numbers. After many nice conversations he calls me and tells me he will be in my area, and wants to meet for coffee. He was a truck driver. I was at work but agreed to meet him afterwards at a 24 hr. local diner. We meet, and he is definitely not what I had expected after seeing his pictures, but I stay, we talk and have a cup of coffee. 30 minutes later I am outta there.
Well the next day he start calling me a lot, I'm talking like 50 times a day.
Singing love songs to me, making plans for our future etc. I told him that I was not interested in him, however he didn't care. He was obsessed!
Then he quits his job and starts stalking me at my job. Every night my boss had to walked me out to my car. Once in my car I was afraid to go straight home, since my teenage kids were at home alone while I was at work. I would drive around for an hour or so, to be sure I lost him.
To top that off, a few weeks after our first and only meeting. I get a call from from a crazy woman claiming to be his wife. She is screaming at me, and accusing me of hiding her husband lol
It was just so bizarre lol
It was to the point where I had no choice but to get the police involved, and he was arrested. | |
