Next time you meet someone, be sure they are local or come to you. Never go to them.
LENDING MONEY - NEVER lend money unless it is something you can live without. 90 % of the time you will never see it again. So give it with the thought you will never see it again. YOU will feel better.
Men: You could have gotten laid WAY closer to home. No need to travel. As any woman can tell you - you simply have to agree to have sex...and most men will do you. No need to pay for it.   | |

You already drove somany miles just to see him and he needs money too? you should know that this person have a problem. Heder he is a conman or a scammer tring to be your lover . there are so many wolves in sheeps clothen these days that you have to be very careful. In my area i hear quite a frue woman it happen to. For me that is rong and bad beavour. But,I'm so sorry for the bad things all good people have to go through just to find love and happiness . We all make mistake but unfair people make matters worse. Just be care full next time and I'm sorry you can't change the pass but you can learn from it. All ways make sure that a personis right for you it is hard to know some time but try and knod there are ways you can take and know when you meet some one that is good. Posted: 10/26/2006 12:32:45 AM | No, you didn't deserve what happened to you. Being sneaky and posting a fake profile says to me that you might need to work on your self-esteem some. Plus, there was obviously a big trust issue going on. If you have a concern, bring it out into the open. Only then can progress be made! This is much easier said than done when one is feeling insecure or afraid to risk losing someone. But hey...you're going to lose out in the end anyway, if you don't feel good about yourself and think you deserve to be treated with respect! We teach others how to treat us, remember!
Nevertheless, the guy sounds like a taker/user. He probably targets others who have a good heart. Just be more careful next time and reserve your good nature and generosity for someone who has proved himself worthy of it!
Chalk it up to experience and learn from it!

He was mad only because he got caught, and transferring blame is how he was protecting his precious ego.
Either you are simply out of the money, you can take him to small claims court, or else we may see you on Court TV.
You were scammed, but don't be too hard on yourself for still having the ability to Love and to Trust, which is becoming harder and harder in Today's Society, even though I believe there are "plenty" of Good People out there, along with the Predatory Opportunists.
The quickest way to lose a Friendship is to lend money, so how much less likely are you to get that money back from someone you barely know?
I am sorry for your heartache and disappointment. Once again, I wish I had a Magic Wand to make the world a better place.
If you have any receipts or documentation of the loan, and it is worth your time to pursue for $200, then I would take him to court. If the means do not justify the ends, then chalk up your losses to a degree in Hard Knocks University, and just move on.

No you don't deserve any of that at all....what he did was worse than being a scum bag (Although I can't think of a worse existant for a man to be a bag of scum....).
