I still think that POF should be a supplement to human interaction, not a replacement. Those of us with crappy schedules (I.E. abnormal hours), have few options until the weekends, but that shouldn't stop you from talking to people. For the people with normal (and yes, that is a loaded and subjective term...) schedules, well toss out a line or two and flirt with some people at the grocery store like the rest of us.......you never know what you'll get until you try. | |

To paraphrase the gentleman above me,POF is not all there is! You have to actually interact with real people in the real world,also....I think too many people take this site way too seriously! Although I think people take life too seriously...If I didn't have the opportunity to laugh on a daily basis,I'd prolly hang myself!
Anyway,what I am trying to say in my own long-winded,meandering manner, is this...POF is a small sample of the real world....in it,there will be beautiful people,regular people,fugly people,people who have no sense of humor,have baggage,etc etc...you don't become best friends with every person you see on the street..why would you hook up with every single person you chat with on here?It makes no sense...we all have some kind of preference! I for one,love the geeks...brains before anything else is my thing...well the cute quirky geeks are the best....but enough about me...when someone doesn't return my msg,I chalk it up to any number of reasons,my age,my wieght,my personality....even tho I am awesome NOT EVERYONE LIKES ME!And I'm ok with that.....
