Posted: 1/29/2005 4:04:51 AM | | Hmmm...if a girl is making you cry...run the heck away from her...girls are more sensitive than us...if they are making you cry...they are doing it on purpose, no excuses...plus, stop falling so hard for them....a good thing to do is play the field a while before getting serious...then you know what you are dealing with before you get to the real relationship...and if they are weird, get away from them and go on a different date...this creates competition among the women in your life....and always be truthful about everything.....hope that helps | |

I cried for days. It had nothing to do with weakness. i loved her and had no idea this was even coming. i begged her not to go through with it, but she did any way. i survived and so do others out there. just because we're men, doesn't mean we don't have feelings. | |

Yes crying is for humans.... for weak humans. Yes, crying is natural and whatever, just like making mistakes. But just because making mistakes is natural does not make them any less wrong. The men who cry and are upset enough about it to post on a message board could use some strengthening. They have probably allowed themselves to become too emotionally dependent on women. | |

Posted: 2/16/2005 1:25:06 PM | Shattered... I think that women don't expect that men can cry... so they think that we can take anything and they never have to worry about that... and that's because there are men that don't let it become known that they cry... it's not manly... as we were taught...
I'm not ashamed to cry... and it's a d*mn good thing... cause it seems to be a regular occurance... but, many men are ashamed to let it be known that they cry... so they don't.
Women think this is normal... manly and macho... and it's not to be expected that men will cry because of it... so they can thrash us and use us and dump us without any worries... it becomes a way of life for them because they think that it is normal... that they can do whatever they want to without repercussions... ...
I tend to be an expert on crying. And, I am not ashamed of that at all... but, life would be very nice not to cry about anything... unfortunately, that wouldn't be real life... nor would it reflect real life regarding what women put us through and what we allow ourselves to be put through. Nor would it reflect what some men put women through.
I tend to have values and not put women through any adverse things... but, I tend to get stomped on and dragged through the dirt regardless... and if I shed a tear... they look at you in horror like you are weak as infinity said and is so blatantly (sp*) mistaken.
There is no answer to why this continues to be a problem in our society... except as far as I can see... that society wants to creat these sterotypes and people tend to try to live up to them. | |
