I'd rather take the time and see if someone has follow through with what they say than keep jumping in with both feet and getting run over. I've done that too many time. Now I have a screening process which some might call common sense, lol. I don't sleep with her withion the first 3-4 weeks till I see some evindence that she's on track. Even if you meet someone a few times they can usually "act" the part they want you to see, same as on here. I'm a suspiscious person by nature but I will give everyone a chance. In order that I rust someone with my affections they have to be trustworthy and I've only just discovered that it takes time to be able to judge that. | |

the experience has NOT yet happened to me but my other female fishie friends so my orginal response was not really targetted to anyone specific.
There is such a thing as "ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT" however. When pple start using substances and remain in that holding pattern of the age of onset e.g. drinking @ 14 will live their lives centered around events, things, pple they associated with and glorify the time frame as well. Therefore if fishie's are players during teen years will be players throughout their life but a much more progressive form. OMG ! (this is my own personal opinion)

I am 51, that is correct, I am 51, and I am very, VERY happy about my age.
WHY?
Because, I have covered a lot of milestones in that time frame, that time pf 51 years have allowed me to do so.
SO, yes, I am proud of my age, and what I have covered in my time, so I have NO NEED, to lie about my age.
As for scoring with the ladies of 20-30, no, I am not interested in scoring with a young woman, who is young enough to be my DAUGHTER, or BABY SISTER.
And no, I don't drive a fancy new sports car, however, I drive a fancy new Dodge Dakota truck tho. | |

But i love it , and it will kick the crap out of 99% of so called sports cars, so its fun to embarrass the young 'ins in their little 4 banger gutless cars.
My Magnum may look grandfatherish, but that BIG hemi V8 under the hood sure sounds sweet, and it goes like a bat out of hell.  | |

I haven't lied about my age since I was *under*age. And that was a lonnnnnnng time ago. | |

Guys saying they are 53 when really they look and act all of 63!!!!
I have found in my experience that it is mostly the guys in their 50's and 60's that can't deal with it that are doing most of the lying. I have "called" a guy on it more than once.
To me, that is a lie, and if you lie about that, what else will you lie about...

Today I feel great...
I look really amazingly good today... much hotter than my usual sexy self... I have reached beyond sexy to the Nth degree where I usally reside... to new levels of hotness... It started from about the time I got up this morning and I have to say that my sexiness and excessive "omg he's gorgeous" qualities have only increased as the day has progressed... My smile is shiny... my hair more lustrous... and... dare I say it... my already top rate buttocks seem to have become rounder... This all goes hand in hand with my winning and charming personality....I'm really 'uber' smart too... Do not be afraid to stare... I am on fire...

Probably the same reason we have women here that like to throw "average" or "athletic" as a body type on their profile, when in reality, yes ,average is probably overweight nowadays, but athletic???? I guess,,,,if you throw the shot put for a living.
Maybe it just comes down to lack of confidence after a few laps around the pond telling the truth all the time and then getting no where fast. So, maybe they decide to change a few "things" here and there on their profile just to see what happens. Not saying is okay to do it,,, but maybe that is one of the reasons. Either/or fibs and lies are usually exposed usually sooner than later. | |
