| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 12/30/2006 7:40:59 AM | | Well I think that goes right along with smoking ocassionaly. You get alot of people that put down ocassional when you know that you are an everday smoker so why dont you just admit it, you smoke often. Its the same as hiding your 200lb, 5ft frame under average. Both are mistruths trying to portray yourself as something different. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 12/30/2006 9:27:44 AM | | Me being a woman myself do not know what can get into some woman, you know guys do it as well. But I would have to consider average weight to be between 130lbs to about 170lbs, anything below 130 is super skinny. So skinny they turn sideways, stick out their tongue and they look like a zipper. Anything over 170, WATCH OUT! Me? I'm about 155, I'm not so humungous that the earth shakes between my feet, but I'm not so skinny that I can fit through the smallest ring ever. I'm just right. | |

I'm not a BIG girl but im no skinny minni and my perspective is: TO EACH THEIR OWN! average is is u can put a pair of jeans on and have no rolls at the top or bulge at the bottom!!LMAO JK no its how you feel as well as what the opposite sex finds acceptable! some men are chubby chasers so a few extra lbs on the few lbs they have is good, ya know!! and some like a lady who had just skin!! well im about to loose the train so ima make some new tracks!! hahahaha JK peace!!

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/13/2007 8:34:05 AM | | I think a better topic is...."Putting that outfit on, a little to small", or Geez, you're over 40, dress like it....You can be sexy, and still look good. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/14/2007 1:18:14 PM | | I felt pitty for you when I read your post on this subject. Your ignorance is amazing. The fact that you are not attracted to overweight woman does not offend me. You are attracted to what you are attracted to...plain and simple, but calling someone a fat ass is totally unacceptable. I think people fail to remember that everyone has feelings and being a "fat ass" myself I can tell you it aint easy living in this society having a weight problem, and being called a fat ass doesn't feel real good....I know what you are thinking right about now.."then stop eating so much and get you fat ass in the gym"....believe me if it were that simple I wouldn't be the weight I am. I think what you need to remember is don't judge someone till you have walked a mile in their shoes. As for the original subject for this posting...I think everyone is doing themselves a diservice by lieing about their body type. I think everyone truely knows what "average" means when it comes to body type...some just don't want to admit that they are overweight. I myself put bbw as my body type. I have no reason to lie. I am not ashamed of myself and I know I am beautiful no matter what some poor ignorant a$$holes have to say about it.... | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/14/2007 1:32:41 PM | | you poor ignorant people should be ashamed of yourselves. If you were discussing race, or developmental disabilities you would be sued, or even arrested. where do you get off, making fun of someone less (or even more fortunate) than you. get a life!!!! | |
|
| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/15/2007 6:31:00 PM | | But you can't change a disability or your race or whatever. Your weight is something you have control over. Now before you all jump all over me about this, notice I didn't say "total" control, there are some outside circumstances, but how many of you are mad and getting all ticked off about this as you slug down a coke and have a snack at 10 at night? Be honest. Who cares, there is someone for everyone so if you are bigger than average, that's cool too. Just let people know. They might reject you but maybe not. And if they do, you didn't want them anyway. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/16/2007 7:55:22 AM | are you freaking nuts...
I just did my thing on that site...and it says I am over weight. I could almost compete in body building at my age of 46
That number is crap! It doesn't take into consideration anything that is pertinent. Just a general rule. For both men and women...give me a break!
Almost everyone I know would be overweight!

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/18/2007 5:05:44 PM | | I don't usually post in these forums, mainly because most of these topics are petty and really silly..seems most people have nothing better to do than **** about things..(maybe it's the lack of sunshine) who knows. I think the whole point to this whole thread...everyone has a different idea of what "average" is...just like "normal" is relative to the person's idea of that is. If you are really thin, then you think you are average, and anyone bigger than you is fat...if you are overweight..you see people that are heavier than you and think they are fat so you must be normal. I think profiles give you a basic idea of whether you want to e mail someone or not. If I come across a profile of a non smoker..I don't e mail them, if they have kids, I don't e mail them. It's as simple as that. As for the "relative" things such as what a person thinks they look like or fall into a category on a subjective description, talking with that person, or asking for more photo's would help figure out if someone is being deceitful or not. You can get a good "feel" of someone just talking to them...so be it...to each his own. If things aren't a 100% what they seem..then agree to disagree and be honest. "you are not what you said you are, I don't think we should continue to pursue a relationship" how hard is that? | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/22/2007 7:09:52 PM | | the average american woman is a size 14. SO i consider an average woman 12-16 in size.. but no.. not 200 pounds. even at a few wxtra pounds... 200 is too much. To me, although average is 12-16 in size.. I say 12- 16 is a few extra pounds. Maybe becasue I used to be a size 4 before the kids... LOL | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/22/2007 8:05:39 PM | i find it funny when men, who are over weight, do not want an over weight woman...i have wished to be a 8 my whole life, but i figured out , you can't wish it away!...it sucks to be over weight, even 25 lbs...can make ya very insucure...and i have a a friend that thinks shes a 8, and shes at least a 20.. she lets it hang out...so gross..but shes sure of herself!! i dunno whats worse | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/22/2007 11:18:18 PM | So funny.... what do women consider to be average weight? Whatever the F**K they weigh. My son's stupid tart thinks she is "average"... sweet... I'm gessing five seven and two tons.
I'm technically OVER... but I can spend all day throwing around 150lb dogs. OHHH... can we say more MUSCLE than fat?
The BMI was changed in... humm 03? or O4... and EVERYONE had a bit of a shock. It's just a stupid chart published by the government, and THEY can be trusted as far as I'd trust a crack head with my television. As in I'd pat them DOWN before they left out my door.
If the chick looks FINE... then she is the right weight... for HER.
No charts... no weird ass numbers... and no CRAP from the government.
Unless you are sticking them on a scale... and that is a creepy fetish!
So states the stacked blonde... that refuses to post a pic... LMAO Built like a brick WHAT??? Yeah...

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/23/2007 9:14:03 AM | how to figure a nice average weight...Well we all have our target weights in mind and I have found that a nice way to decide is to 1)take the womans height in inches 2) times tht number by 1.8
and you have a very nice middle of the road figure, for example a gal at 5-4 =64 x 1.8= 115 lbs this is a nice slim woman want a bit more??? try 2x 64 =126 pounds ok still nice , this is not average in Michigan , but for NY and New Jersy and Texas these numbers fall pretty good. Michigan is the number 1 or 2 fat state in the union ,
so be careful what you call average!!!
does it mean average as in the pack of heavies in the local circle of friends ????? example ......if a profile says Im 5 ft tall 200 pounds average weight !!!! woooooooooa

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/23/2007 7:58:59 PM | This is a tough topic, because different frames wear weight differently.
Simple fix: Everyone should have a full body shot in their profile. That way viewers can make their own assumptions. This will never happen though.
I like women of various sizes and body types. A woman has to be confident and have the appearance of healthy and happy for me. Healthy doesn't have to mean skinny, at least to me. The last woman I was with was overweight, but still, I found every part of her sexy and appealing. It's about how a woman carries herself and her attitude.

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/24/2007 6:36:27 AM | | I'm so glad that you put it the way you did.Like someone said earlier, you're going to miss out on finding the right one cuz they don't look a certain way, than looking for what's inside the person for who they are and how they are going to treat you, that's the main thing, not looks.Americans have a big problem, everyone is caught up on looks and material crap.If anyone was to read my profile,I stated ,material things shouldn't matter, cuz when we die,it won't matter.people are going to remember you for awhile, then move on to someone else.Americans get caught up on too much crap instead of just trying to have a good time for what it is,with whomever.Notice how many of the same people are on these dating sites still looking, and haven't found their so-called mr. or miss right, yet!so full of bull, trying to make someone perfect,it's not going to happen. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/24/2007 8:18:12 AM | | I think it strange that your so concern about body image and looks. Maybe you should ask questions rather this person will be there for you, would be loyal to you or give you the love and affection you need. Instead of being a trophey for you to show off your friends to. Freakin grow up looks aren't everything. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/24/2007 4:18:31 PM | Isn't that an individual preference? For me A Few extra pounds IE: Man:6ft 1inch, nothing under 200, too small. If they're a big body build 220. If smaller, 200. 6'1", large body build, 260 is a little extra weight in my book.
Again it goes back to preference and realistic expectations. Body build size, structure, height, how they carry it.
I agree with others here. It's also men. "I'm just slightly over weight" yet when you meet them, they're belly hangs or protrudes, far beyond anything slightly. Let the adventure continue..lolol..to judge or not to judge.
Yes I actually LOVE big men. 6'2" +, 225 to 280. BIG broad, almost barrel chested.

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/29/2007 10:31:31 AM | I thought it was funny reading all the posts in here and seeing how everyone tries to find a "nice way to say it". No one has a problem talking about people that smoke, or drink a lot, or any other bad habit. Why is it when it comes to being overweight, everyone has to be nice about it? Fact is only 2% of obese people actually have a medical condition causing it, so why are we trying to be nice to people that have abused themselves, and now wants someone to "love me the way I am"? Yet at the same time, my friend who is bound to a wheelchair has trouble finding a fat woman to love him the way he is, and he had no control over his problem whatsoever. I also think it's great someone addressed this issue. While I respect everyone, I think people with similar lifestyles/religions/opinions should be together. Why is someone with eating disorders calling someone who is an athlete? Would a church goer look up drug abusers? Would a democrat look up a republican ? Maybe if someone actually told them they are not average, they would see the light, but unfortunately, I am a man of honesty and if I ever even hinted that a woman was overweight, she would take it as an insult and attack on her. I know men that joke about their weight, but not women, they deny it. Truth be told. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/29/2007 10:34:04 AM | | P.S. from that last post: I want to add that I am not saying fat is ugly. I have seen some truly BBW around. I am not attracted to fat, I dont know anyone who is, but I am not saying that youre ugly if youre overweight. All I am saying is the same thing that started this thread, if youre overweight and don't know it, then you have more problems than your weight. denial. | |

| what do woman consider average weight? Posted: 1/29/2007 10:43:23 AM | One more thought I had while reading this: Define average: Average is when you add everything up then divide it by the number of things you added up. Anyone who ever went bowling knows what an average is.
If you live near Detroit or Huston, your average might be a little flawed if youre looking locally. I think the average in Detroit is something like 300 lbs? So if you live in the city and weigh 200 lbs I guess you could say you are below average. But a doctor would not say that, he would tell you that your health is at risk. If 999 out of 1000 people were all the same size would that make them average? yes but would it make them healthy ? If you look worldwide, you can find that most Filipino women dont go much over5'0" 100 lbs. If you look in europe you fin the average woman to be 5'7" 130-140 lbs. If you look in the United States, you might find the average a little higher, but if you look locally, then of course you can justify your size. Now here in Dteroit and surrounding areas, its not uncommon to find women 5'-5'6" and well over 160 lbs. Can you call that average? If theres enough of you, I guess so.....but dont cry to me when I don't "love you the way you are", unless you dont have a problem with me being a deadbeat, and sponging off of you. Hey love me the way I am.
