Normal... theres nothing normal about people... just a calculated average by some yahoo's textbook... and average is...

Posted: 5/29/2008 10:19:33 PM | | There was a time that I felt that weight didn't matter but for me it did. Over 12 years ago I lost about 110 lbs. I must admit that the process of getting rid of that much weight wasn't very pleasurable. Not only was it emotionally draining but it was quite a financial burden. As painful and expensive as it was I feel it was worth it and I have been a much happier person since doing so . I'm not saying everyone needs to lose weight to be happy but for me it worked. The important thing is that you are happy with yourself no matter what others think. | |

I'm all for doing the unexpected and always shaking up people's expectations, people worry too much about behaving in someone elses rule of socially acceptable. But, crazy needs to stay away, even if it's cute and built like a greek God. | |

All depends on your definition of 'crazy'. Theres the Goofy crazy, the absurd crazy, then the f**kin' crazy! LoL Now if your talking about the individual who goofy crazy (not mentioning any names here, Yma!) but woulnt that just make then Quirky?  | |

Posted: 5/30/2008 1:01:42 PM | I'm not sure if I dare to say a word, but I was feeling left out. I have myself on here as "average". I'm about 5'4 and the last time I weighed myself, (I honestly don't remember the exact number) but it was somewhere around 160. According to the doctors charts (which by the way, are a bunch of CRAP) I'm only supposed to weigh about 125lbs. YES! I would love to weigh that....but I figure as long as I still fit comfortably in Jr. size jeans with the exception of an XL top (so my boobs/shoulders can fit), I don't think I look too bad at all. Of course, we'd all like to look like the pictures in the magazines, but the reality is this: NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD PLASTIC SURGERY! I think "average" means that you can still fit in JR/Misses/Women's size clothing. If you have to go to the plus size, you are then probably above average, maybe a "few extra pounds". This is the key as well: POST A PHOTO! That is the first impression. It's not shallow, it's just the matter of fact that you must like what you see before you decide to open your eyes for the rest of your life and look at that person! It only makes sense.  I'm not all that and a bag of chips, but I just might be the right "dip" for someone out there! Have fun   | |
