Sell it to me!!!!! lol I was actually asking people last night at the POF party about the whole "average" thing.......I put "average" on my profile and I think I nailed it dead on! lol I had better find a man or some really good buddies to hang out with soon so I can keep on the move and lose some of this (BLAH! WINTER) weight! Yes, Robin, I was walking behind the bar last night (on my way to go see the purty horses) and tripped over a 4x4 (edging) and my knee BIT THE DUST! GROSS! I played it off like I was cool and it didn't hurt at all......until I saw blood dripping down my leg....then it hurt! lol A HUGE thank you to A79BRUIN (?) She took care of me and got me some peroxide and a nice pretty bandage! Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!  I must admit, I'm glad nobody was around to see me take the dive! It was a fun party. Hey Gary and Robin...where will you be the weekend of June 13? Rodney is throwing a bash at Magoo's here in Grand Rapids! Then you could come to the party and hang out with us AND get a room at the same time!!!  (By the way....I might be having better luck with this  than I realized! ) We really need to exchange yahoo messenger id's! So much easier than through the forums, but golly gee, how would other people know how much fun was possible if we didn't share our silly stories? | |

Holy Crap....my birthday on the 12th, party on the 13th, leaving on the 14th! Cedar Point weekend on the 28/29! Wow! Good thing I'm single cuz if I had a man I'd have to actually MAKE time for him..........or I could just find one that would like to JOIN me in my fun activities!  | |

Posted: 7/5/2008 9:49:07 PM | | Hey sargo. It's a wonder you're still single. There is a definition of normal, but girls think of weight in simple terms of height and pounds. I'm 5'08", size 36, pretty muscular, and would have my abs carved into blocks at a size 34 (or maybe bigger if i keep up with these weighted crunches. Keep in mind that I'm bench pressing about 265 pounds right now. A fitness calculator says that another 30 pounds and I'll be one of the big boys. 290/195 is about 1.5, which is what the big boys do. My long-term goal is fairly modest. I only want to hit 350, hopefully by next year. That'd be better than it has to be though. The point is, an online chart says I should lose 50 POUNDS! I don't have 50 lbs to lose, and even if I lost the 10 or 15 total that I'm carrying on me, I'd put on another 10 pounds of muscle doing it. If you want to know what normal is, SEE A DOCTOR! These people go to school for a long time to tell you these things. By the way.... for guys, protein minus carbs (especially bread, beer, and sugar, in that order) is an easy way to get in shape. Try to eat light proteins like eggs, tuna, and get yourself a tub of whey. Quit whining and just do it! For skinny guys, eat your magic foods (Burgers, Pizza, etc.), red meats are great for you. Take weight gainer if you need to. Protein plus dense carbs makes you fat enough to get strong. Genetics are a pain for all of us. Not strong enough, not skinny enough, there's always something we don't like. Everyone quit whining, eat right, and hit the gym! | |
