i recently heard that 75% of all long distant relationships don't work. I feel more inclined to believe that the percentage should be higher.
my last relationship - she lived walking distance from my place worked well for some time but it didn't work later on..
so, what's your point?
even local relationships doen't work!
can't tell you the percentage, but far the most relationships end within the first 2 years...
the only difference I see is:
- it costs more energy (time, money)
-possibly the attraction might be slightly higher...because of different backround / lifestyle
