| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/9/2006 2:53:04 AM | A lot of times I don't feel the need to pee until I'm already in the shower, so I just pee while I'm in there. It beats getting out and using the toilet. You never know, I could slip or trip and hit my head, and die from it. No thanks! So I'm a girl, and I pee in the shower...big deal. I just make sure to warn any guys that I date not to suck on my feet! | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/9/2006 10:00:36 PM | I've heard it many times before...urine is sterile when it comes from your body. @ badgirl and all others who believe urine is sterile ...
Urine is not sterile ... it has bacteria in it. If we get that bacteria on us personally, our bodies do not care ... it's our very own bacteria. It's the bacteria from others' urine we need to be concerned about ... that's not our very own bacteria and our bodies might not like it too much.
In general, peeing in your own tub or shower could not possibly be bad ... as it occurs generally at the beginning of the shower and the gobs and gobs of water we use thereafter will wash it down the drain. The soap we all (hopefully) use will wash the bacteria (considered "nasty" by a few on here) away just as it would wash the bacteria away from your hands when you wash your hands after using the toilet. (You do wash your hands after using the toilet ... right?)
Some do not wash their hands after using the bathroom. Then they go to the bathroom door and touch (or manhandle) the door knob to get out of the bathroom (with all their urine and BM bacteria still on their hands). Some further go from there back to their table (at restaurants and such) and continue to eat with all that bacteria on their hands.
That's their choice, but what really pisses me off is that the next person ... after taking the time to truly wash their hands, then touches that door knob to get out of the same bathroom and gets all the bacteria the previous person left on it ... the one who did not bother to wash their hands. That's just not right!
For that reason, when anywhere in public, I wash my hands before touching any food whether I have used the facilities or not. I do not touch the spigot handle, I use a paper towel to turn the spigot on and throw it away. Then wash my hands and leave the water running until I have dried my hands with a clean paper towel. I use that paper towel to turn off the water and dispose of it. Then pull another clean paper towel to open the bathroom door with. Then I look for a trash can between me and my table to dispose of that paper towel.
It sounds like a lot of effort to go through just to eat out and be sure I have clean hands ... but that's important to me. It's more important to others not to pee in the shower where it really makes no difference ... these same people who will not consider peeing in the shower are the ones who know nothing about actually protecting themselves against the bacteria they should really be concerned about!
This is a funny thread ... and at the risk of getting bashed for this ...
... all of you who are disgusted by the thought of peeing in the shower need to be even more disgusted about the probability of injesting a lot of other peoples' bacteria while out in public ... anytime you touch a door handle, drinking fountain knob, grocery cart handle, you get contact with every person who touched it before you and left their germs on it. If you do not wash your hands before touching your own food and eating thereafter ... you get what's on your hands in your body.
If you go out to eat ... fast food for example ... you touch the door handle to the restaurant when entering, you handle your money when paying, you then walk to the table with your food and wrestle your food into your mouth. If you did not wash your hands the way I described above ... you are getting all that bacteria into your mouth.
Mmmmm .... now that's yummy thought. That's why public places are the ture hazzard ... not your bathtub that may or may not contain your very own relatively harmless bacteria!

Always a freash clean washcloth, the face is washed first, and the butt and privates last. Showers yes and clean the tub first for a soak, and as mentioned a shower to rinse. If she pee's in the tub make her scrub afterwards.

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/12/2006 3:52:55 PM | | i have also heard that if you cut yourself bad and there is no anti-biotic available. pee ( urine ) is good to pour on the wound because according to experts pee has sterilizing ingredients. | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/26/2006 3:11:00 AM | | I don't know about sterilizing ingredients in urine ... there is salt in urine and if you cut yourself, it doesn't hurt to put salt on it. | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/26/2006 10:58:22 PM | My ex told me he peed in the shower cuz he had a wart on his foot and someone told him peeing on warts gets rid of them. Apparantly it worked for him. Kinda gross but whatever.
I think almost everyone has peed in the shower at some point, and it really isn't that big of a deal as long as you clean your shower.
As for the whole bath/shower thing, I do my shower thing (shampoo, conditioner, soap stuff) before I take a bath cuz those things affect the bubbles and I like bubbles! And I rinse off after to get rid of any residue that may be left by the bubbles, so I think my bathtime is pretty clean. I, personally, would also never pee in front of anyone (there's locks on bathroom doors for a reason!)
P.S. to OP, what about public pools and hottubs that little kids probably pee in all the time, and lakes and stuff?

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/27/2006 4:00:16 PM | To the women that are freaked out by this, what the hell? Some of u can eat sperm from a man's penis, which btw is made for procreation! CHILL OUT PRUNES! I have only done this once in a while. Like if I have to. I just aim for the drain and try to make sure I do not get it on the floor of the tub! YEA! Calm down though, pee is not going to kill u! The guy should maintain his tub on a regular basis anyway! So if he is clean , u shouldn't have to worry! | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 6/27/2006 4:05:37 PM | But as far as peeing in front of someone, that would probably take a lil while for me! LoL. Not in the beginning of dating! Sorry! But if I am with a long-term girlfriend/wife, what's the big deal?? Hell she can do it for me while I am shaving! | |

|
| Well, duh. Do you want to bathe in someone's pee? Posted: 7/13/2006 5:43:57 AM | Not caring for someone peeing in your cleaning area is just fine. To each his own. Keep in mind, urine is sterile..the water you use to bathe in is not.
Pee is sterile as long as you dont have a urinary tract infection. as for peeing in the shower, I would certainly never EVER do it while someone else was in the shower with me..if I ever did it at all
|
| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 7/13/2006 5:03:13 PM | | Personally, im not a shower pee'er, and I would hope when I find a man he isnt either, i think its gross, if you miss, that bacteria is on your feet Ewwwww | |

Dunno about that one, but if you get stung by a jellyfish, urine will calm the pain

Maybe Im weird, I take a shower after havng a bath so I can rinse off the dirt I left in the bath lol. Then I know I'm clean!!!!! Nothing like sitting in a tepid pool of your own filth I say. lol

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 7/28/2006 3:45:42 PM | | Urine is sterile which comes from a sterile cavity, some religions actually drink their own for spiritiual reasons. Yes you are a prude. Every been to a public pool? Imagine how much urine is there????? | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 7/28/2006 3:59:52 PM | | Ok here's my 2 cents on this one...I remember peeing in the shower when I was a kid...But now I know there is a difference between a shower drain and a toilet..Try not to get the 2 mixed up lol And now I have 2 kids of my own who tend to pee in the shower....I sanitize and move on, because eventually they will hopefully learn the difference too. And if my date were to pee in the shower I would hope that maybe it was because he could be too drunk to make it to the toilet or loss of bladder control..Otherwise hold it please...NOT MY TUB... | |
