It would be different in the bathtub if she were soaking in it. Yuck! but in the shower? where there's a drain and running water? If it bothers you so much, just sanitize the shower floor before you step in. And you've never done it? | |

It never even crossed my mind. I don't get an urge to pee when I'm in the shower because I always use the toilet before I shower. If I marry someone who does this, we're definitely going to need separate bathrooms. :( | |

Posted: 4/29/2008 7:34:45 PM | Has anyone thought of having a shower before you bathe, bathing is a part of personal hygeine, and soaking for a period of time is much better for cleaning the skin and other areas, and a quick shower after is recomended also.......
I keep cleaning strong cleaning agents and a cloth in my shower, and spray it out when I first get in, and that can be twice daily, I dont monitor my household with regard to whether or not they pee in the shower, it would be lazy as the toilet is so close , it me maybe ok for men, but I consider urinating on my feet would defeat the purpose of the shower........
I never smelt urine in my bathroom, it or thought about it........
I did have a nurse in hospital tell me that the running water makes people get the urge to pee...... I have had girlfriends admit to peeing in the shower when pregnant, and I have had it also happen while pregnant,
I am not judgemental with regard to what other people do in their homes, I wory about what happens in mine.
I would ask if they could not pee in the shower as others use it and as I am none the doing the cleaning I would appreciate them using the loo, and perahps supply them with a shower robe so they can make the transition
If you dont approve and I wouldnt, say so,
It may be not be a big deal to her, but let her know it is to you.
If she discounts this then she will discount any other boundaries you set with her...
Its not the issue of peeing in the shower, its her response to you about it that is the problem..... | |

~~~The problem with slobs is they are just lazy. The person who pees in the shower (instead of just finishing with the shower and then using the toilet) is likely to be the same person who won't even clean the shower and tub for weeks. ~~~ Um, that is a lot of dirty tubs! I admit it, I pee in the shower. *looking for a shame smiley* I clean my house, tub included, three times a week. I would think it is safe to assume most shower pee'rs probably clean their tubs (from what I have read). | |
