I do not think you are a prude at all. I think that is gross.
and what's your views on baths? (not showers just baths)
is that not gross?
Baths (without a shower afterwords) are nasty. All you're doing is soaking in your own dirt! Eventually that water becomes saturated with the dirt from one's body and $hit remnants from one's a$$ and people don't feel the need to shower that dirty water off afterwards!?!?!
NAASTY! | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 3/9/2006 1:22:09 PM | There is this old saying I don't swim in your toilet please don't pee in my pool. How ever I guess you could have your plumber come over and install a flush valve on your shower drain, just in case he decides to take a dump! Just keep a spray bottle of bleach close for easy cleanups... | |

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 3/9/2006 1:34:01 PM | | What up?? Pee in the shower so what? Whats the next thread? Does your date pick his nose..guess what? | I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 3/9/2006 1:45:28 PM | Hell yeah its an issue.....is your toilet seat filthy? If not....its not about being a prude...its about her being RUDE and CRUDE! OR all of the above and LAZY! Was she in the shower washing and then decided to go instead of step out and use the toilet? Maybe you didn't bang her right and she had some deep "seated" urge to get you back. Lesson to guys everywhere....CLEAN those toilets before company comes | |

Posted: 3/9/2006 4:54:44 PM | She's going to be cleaner peeing in the shower and washing off after than if she pees in the toilet and wipes with a bit of bathroom tissue that leaves bits and pieces behind... Just an FYI -- when you flush the toilet there is a three foot range of microspray including everything you just deposited in that water. Is that clean? Are your arms longer than three feet? If not then that microspray of water with urine & feces mixed in is most likely going to hit your chest and face as well unless you always close the lid before you flush.

Posted: 3/9/2006 6:14:57 PM | Note to self.....next time someone ask to use my bathroom I MUST ask;"are you going to use my toilet or shower? and to do what where?" If the answer is the toilet I'll promtly and politely show them the door to 1 of my bathrooms... IF the answer is shower(or sink) to pee/urinate.....I'll promptly and politely show them the door...to the back yard and a nice big tree or bushes

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 3/9/2006 11:23:49 PM | I prefer to pee in my backyard...got an acre lot. Saves water, marks my territory etc....also I have snakes eyes from Hell. Wasn't a problem until my youngest went out into the yard, dropped her pants, squatted and peed "Like her Daddy". Well, they let me have kids so screw 'em | |

LOL - my eight-yr-old boy loves to "mark his territory" in my yard (fwiw, I've got three acres - so he won't run out of places to go for a long, long time). And, yes, he pees in the shower, too. As do I, on occasion. Water I get from the well, but it does save electricity from the pump. At least that's my excuse!

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 3/10/2006 10:16:43 AM | There's clean, there's obsessive and there's uninformed.
Did you know that in 3rd world nations, people use urine as an antiseptic? Just Google "urine +antiseptic -urinary" and learn some fascinating and useful tidbits.
My brother had a long-time annoying-but-not-too-serious problem with foot odour, which he addressed by using famous brand shoe insoles. A naturopath one day suggested that he pee on his feet in the shower, showing him some literature that discussed the anti-bacterial properties of human urine.
From that day to this, Ross has never needed Dr. Schol's insoles. His feet don't stink. Period. And I now pee in the shower myself. (Up until then, I never would have considered it)
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this already.

| I caught my date peeing in the shower!! Posted: 3/10/2006 5:25:33 PM | too funny
I think it happens a lot more than people will care to admit. However, the issue I find with this is there is no S-bend in your shower pipes, which is what the toilet design uses to keep the crap germs [ no pun intended] away from your toilet [ I am assuming if you flush of course] by the means of two sharp angles in the pipe. Also this pipe is seperate to your drain from bath and shower and vanity. So if you go to the toilet in your shower or the tub that shower is in, That means urine and all its nasties will sit mixed in with the water that goes with your normal water pipe under your bathroom floor [ ever had a peek at the water level sitting beneath that silver drain circle thingy in your bathroom floor?? not too many inches from where you walking around etc...] for a while rahter than being flushed straight away, and not too far from your delicate self
If this gives you cause for some health concerns as it does me, I tend to find I dont like the idea at all !!!
To answer your question would I break up with someone over it, no. Might just make fun of tem and ask them not to do it... Though I do hear its good for warts on the feet ???????
