| Have you ever paid to use a dating site? Posted: 2/15/2008 7:08:19 AM | | never, nd I never intednd to pay. I usually live not so subtle hints so they cna find my aim or social networking site. I did not expect POF to be truly free. Not jsut free to make a profile like every site out there but free to contact eachother. POF is jsut that cool and I have dated 5 women form this site about to date a sixth qith asome luck. I ahd a 6 month reltaionship form thsi site and had a 1 month relationship that jsut ended as of last week. The pay sites stink. I met one person off a pay site but it tookt hem a month to fidn otu how to cotnact me with all the hints. | |

| hey Posted: 12/25/2008 7:50:15 AM | | you're right, when people are on a paying dating site it means they are serious about meeting someone. Not saying that all people on pay sites are looking long term, just less email tag and less looky lous. | |

| hey Posted: 12/25/2008 7:54:50 AM | I have had better luck on paying sites than on here for dates. But I have met some wonderful people on here............love you, all my cyber friends.
I am on 3 free sites and 2 paid sites. Just a note, call before you join, complain about the price and you will get a discount. I joined one for a year for $62US.

| hey Posted: 12/25/2008 4:43:02 PM | I agree with you outofthe desert and Merry Christmas to you!
I am not currently on a paid site but I had better luck on them when I was. I rarely get any emails on here and have actually only gone out with one person from here.
I think on the pay sites people may be more serious about actually meeting someone. I just stay here for the wonderful friends that I have made and for the forums.

| hey Posted: 12/26/2008 11:49:01 AM | Sorry, but I don't think it makes that much difference if you pay or not, it all depends on your looks, your photos, and what you put on your profile, I have tried on a number of sites, paid and free sites, to find a new girl friend, Merry Christmas every one, and a happy new year. | |

| Have you ever paid to use a dating site? Posted: 12/26/2008 9:49:44 PM | | Yes, I have paid but have found equally good success in meeting people here for free so presently don't see the point in paying anymore. And I've also noticed quite a few people from the pay sites I was on last year who currently have profiles here which leads me to further believe I'm just as well off on this site. | |

| Have you ever paid to use a dating site? Posted: 1/3/2009 6:00:26 AM | | I have found from experience that numerous of sites initially say they are free, I joined, found guys I liked, tried to message them and low and behold a message flashes up that you have to upgrade and guess what yes you have guessed you have to pay. No Thank You I sent them an email as I think sites or anyone who does this is bad advertising. | |
