| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- Abraham's Children gone -:- Posted: 8/27/2007 5:54:13 AM | For all mankind it was a matter of time till the end of all days changed the ways back to that natural sign the shadow of a line entwined with survival mind unkind with thought brought not bought fought over food and shelter in the sweltering heat of the now unsure of any future past just gone some how animals we were animals we are nature will have the days huddled in darkness half the time a herd of unfit strays back beyond the stone age back before time back to where fire was god where nobody tried to rhyme
Will this satisfy a soul the life beyond a simple goal the thought of love for sake of love some truth we wear with formal gloves protecting the hand of man fashioned after god wrought logs before the storm icons later become the norm then he sits in a bar drives an old car doesn't bother to warn those children of the corn still plant the seed so as to feed plenty from the horn not noticing others scorn
Man, Myth and Magic Time, Life publication of the past I remember when the charts predict and know nothing ever lasts except maybe the past

Thought you should know I remember the smell of pinion pine and the cackle of cookfires within the mind of yesterday. Canyon echoes from eagles call and legacy's written across history's wall of fossilized fuels that power the grid no one remembers just what you did. But I do. With infinite tenderness feathers of dawn by firelight beckoned and began the song that sang us here to be A dreamers destiny. Wonder too late if you can save the fate of the burning times while Greek fire climbs to final history and the mystery remains unsolved. Have we evolved? Up from the wars in Afganstan the drug lords control of the holy land take it back for me there's still time to see the truth again despite the pain of the witness stand You understand? Save the merchant of Venice from further decay the Dutch build their ocean pods anyway escape fantasy that remains to be the only way out for most as our host quits protecting recollecting the brutality of man and woman to each other No one dare to trust the gap that screams between your lover and your vulnerable face we cannot keep pace \ with the changes without honest exchanges of true thought. It's all we've got left. | |

nothing lasts but everything impresses something quietly lingering memories of memories colouring today dead things have their say from every yesterday
nothing lasts yet nothing is without what was the memories flawed remembering dictates my experience perception hence interprets every sense
nothing lasts all shall be gone and yet remain to be built upon treasure the best choosing, keeping which to come creeping into dreams as you're sleeping | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- a New Dawn -:- Posted: 8/29/2007 4:13:37 PM | its always a party in the swamp dem frogs just bumpin and humpin when they want coyotes singin every night and that ole screach owl looking such a fright
there's a bubblin brew for all to drink as long as youz don't mind the stink fresh moss and shrooms now we're into fall down in the swamp ya can have a ball
its nice now that the skits are gone burnt off like a dried out thong after the water has evaporated breeding bugs have been sedated
so its fun to just go walk around spring in step on humus ground watching all the little toads jump like touching electrode
Its always a party in my swamp so come on over for a jaunt bring a camera and lunch if you like bring a tent and stay all night. | |
|
| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- a New Dawn -:- Posted: 8/29/2007 8:05:28 PM | bring a tent and stay all night. we've a jar full of fireflies giving us light and the moon's in a sliver but the stars shine bright we're havin' a swamp party ya thats right! Tree toads calling by the red willow stand and the bull frogs base booms deep to beat the band Red wing Black bird Butterflies across the land Why the swamp gas makes us laugh we still don't understand. Pete Moss comes all dressed up in alligator shoes While the Bull Rush is hooking up with Lilly two by twos. Marshmallow and coltsfoot are kicking up the blues and the dogwood he got down sippin' sulphur brews. Tom cats play catch a mouse and flying squirrels entertain Thunder clouds are over head we're caught out in the rain The swamp party just gets wet, and we don't feel no pain 'cause what they say out Shrekys way is, 'Heck, no rain no gain"! | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- Isn't it a City -:- Posted: 8/29/2007 9:37:32 PM | Thanks Ravin ... I think I mention rain and imply no gain [ begining from 8 line stanza's correction - then alteration - then addition ]
But it's really because we just don't know Jack of it's soft warm sensation as pure as a dove that soap laying claim to some essence above this nation
in nature not nurture parasites and bacteria on a bird may or may not have a cure to think pigeons holy is oh so absurd lest angels use them as the wings needed to fly and that cooing a language complete with the lies fallen to earth in civil war of the heavens hands taken away so they can't throw a seven or eleven
Chained to twenty-four hours a day the numbers now change with all our new plays twenty-four seven now comes hard and fast with drive-through window replicas die-cast then back on your ass at a hundred plus well maybe twenty five when there is a rush grinding to a halt every three to five makes ya wonder if we're really alive
Could be just a form of purgatory these cities of dreams choking on all those blue sky schemes jogging with shin-splints beside a truck thinking about that last good luck before lung collapse from monoxide drift or that tattoo you got from the pavement kiss such a strange bliss hisses through the back of my mind distinctly entwined with my past
City boy well at least the burbs hanging out on corners and curbs plaza windows sometimes a backrest dust and garbage smokes in the vest walkin and hikin and jackin at times yelling for sake of the din of the line city girl yea well she screams for fun lipstick and leather can make a boy run jump squirm and kick for show in the night but dancing so often makes him up tight shy in that macho designer drug quest even the family will treat like a guest seeing how a powder keg can explode when fire is allowed to engulf the load city life a pretty life a wife and hubby swimming corporate rivers not very good forgivers no time for babies city death in every breath of air there seems to be somewhere all around us the sky and ground must play their part caress the hearts of all who fall into those cracks in the pavement disappearing like the rain drained | |
|
| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- Isn't it a City -:- Posted: 8/30/2007 10:19:56 PM | drained of hope or inspirations breath and death looks like the only way out I can shout no more I know the score and cannot take the floor any more. Do not look at me as if I know I cannot go any further here. It's not fear of annihilation that causes the hesitation It's the knowing of existence that keeps the persistence of one foot in front of the other that and love for the Mother the rest can rot in hell if they like you never can tell when these moods strike and it feels like hell oh well tomorrow is another day and yesterdays say will have little meaning just excess screaming into nothing real whats the big deal anyway Seen the news today? I cry! A thousand fires blacken the sky and Uranium mined for missile heads point a thousand fingers of death beds promise for peace. Please release me from this place I've run my case to the wall and another brick has the wherewithall to be thrown through Gods stained glass window.

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- the threashold -:- Posted: 9/1/2007 10:13:41 PM | May I look through your window out past the momentary thought feeling earth inside the light feeling a little caught
---------- this came after first last dream tangent
Cross the threashold of forever more feel the light and start to soar pure pleasure rises with your mind screaming laughter out of time
orgasmic with out evidence they say psychomagnetic impressions are laid desires culminate in pure white light the essence of life loves oh so right
tis only a mere moment past clutching back fall dosen't last how to hold-on any amount longer leaving desire feeling so much stronger
Not your time is all you know peace remains while you must go another space between the void wondering if you were just toyed | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- the straw -:- Posted: 9/4/2007 7:03:02 AM | I'm thinking its time the lines don't rhyme like I really want to see them placed the pace has slowed time I know to go like my pictures off into some deleted file while moderators smile to themselves thinking the joke wasn't funny but worth all the money I paid to be here displayed like another fool playing cool daddy happy laddie when all I'm doing is wastin time. spewing a few signs of life | |
|
| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- the straw -:- Posted: 9/4/2007 9:43:34 AM | dead days where the words won't come all your senses numb oppression in your head
heavy clouds, stifling air cold and hot everywhere reasonless mood of lead
eyes like dirty panes of glass greyish light can barely pass feeling like the walking dead
sunlight and joy and love abound but appreciation's drowned restless, else I'd stay in bed
clouds will pass I know for sure all I must do is endure stupid chemicals in my head | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- the straw -:- Posted: 9/4/2007 4:08:15 PM | Hmmmm. dulldrums just need a fire when the skins get loose like that. tighten 'em up while you chew the fat with old or new friends, matters not in the least just as long as they can sing and play and bring a potluck feast. Drums left unplayed they loose their way and get all bent out of shape, just need some fire and some fun and they'll rejuvenate. The very best cure for the dull drum blues is to dance until the dawn brings around a bran new day with friends passed out on your lawn. | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- b-day blues -:- Posted: 9/7/2007 4:10:51 PM | for everyone else its another day well almost everyone I've got to say at least until that fateful day when a couple of thousand got blown away
now some want to make it a holiday to remember a bad time instead of play I would much rather party on and sing those happy birthday songs
yea its sad that somany bought the farm and terrists sure can do some harm but honestly folks that's a heavy load when ten times as many die on the roads
Now think way back to world war one its not that first shot of a gun we remember as a holiday its when peace again found the way
so if this war on terror ever ends that day is the day to remember my friends not the one that started the war you can celebrate it as my b-day for sure

Virgos rule. Happy Birthday Shrek. | |

this day the tides did change far, far away and the fury of the storm opened up the sky so we might see small miracles.
Mabye I should have just stuck with Ravin's blues, reds, pinks, oranges, purples, greens, and yellow. | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- b-day blues, reds, pinks, oranges, purple, green, yellow Posted: 9/13/2007 2:45:47 PM | I thank you all for the lovely sentiment and snippets of poetic insight. my day was lovely and the evening and night and even had the time to find myself enjoying the next day too way way far away from my everyday work having a bit of play I think everyone's birthday should be a holiday of long weekend proportion allowing social contortions to stray in a way that induces fair play
Somewhere in this thought is brought light hope faith in understanding no real demanding trying for a smooth landing commanding the troops to use hulla hoops to shore up the droops while they're standing so astute listening to that flute from far far away let us pray for a personal holiday. | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- b-day blues, reds, pinks, oranges, purple, green, yellow Posted: 9/13/2007 9:41:16 PM | Good idea. Birthday holidays. Mines next weekend, and I'm taking 5 days!! Well, I do have to work just for 2 hours smack dab in the middle, but other than that 5 days of absolute play. Ya. MY gift to me, for being a good girl all year.

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- b-day blues, reds, pinks, oranges, purple, green, yellow Posted: 9/18/2007 10:23:16 AM | It took sixty-five years to get the blues now the only problem is you wanna snooze do that baby and yer gonna lose that feeling ya need t' sing those blues
been wastin time on all those things drivin an fightin to have a bell ring dinged that dong way too many times you can't recognize a true love chime
It took sixty-five years to get the blues now ya get em but ya just wanna snooze do that babe an yer sure gonna lose don't matter which colour you try to choose
close yer eyes to the world all around let the beat kinda beat you down feel that depression sink deep in yer skull if ya can't scream it out yer part of the cull
It took sixty-five years to get the blues ya get em now but just wanna snooze ain't no doubt that will make ya lose unless ya belt it out right up from yer shoes | |

| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- b-day blues, reds, pinks, oranges, purple, green, yellow Posted: 9/19/2007 7:51:48 PM | ^ sounds like a plan , my man ^ remember there is always a place for you in infinity.
now.... thinking of lyrics relating to how at times I can see people in a different light showing another age of themselves ... not just actions but actually facial expressions and style.
I can see that young girl hiding in your smile behind those blue eyes can she play for awhile
I can see that young woman giggling acoss your lips with no thoughts of tomorrow letting dead lines just slip
Don't you ever get the same play with someone your holding close the ages seem to fade away into a strange mystic ghost times you once never had are now coming into view with a passion inside a love some how being old and new | |
|
| -:- One Moment in Infinity -:- where do we go from here Posted: 9/28/2007 6:53:01 AM | that consumate question filed and piled across tensions lost to some inventions yet still a kind of suggestion
where do we go from here anywhere should be clear nowhere would make us lumps bumps without any speed in need of someone to feed us and I trust that's not what we need
so now the pressure is on queen to pawn and beyond thinking the rook took the look then settled down into a book
was that some sort of joke lost to lack of tokes waiting for the bloke that brings good news after dinner before the snooze you choose to dream of better things of angels flying on feathered wings smiling and laughing with total abandon like that day in the park a bit after dark as we skipped hand in hand
with sand in my shoes from a lazy walk my brain all relaxed from intimate talk you felt so good caressing my locks I couldn't resist as we sat on the dock
now were do we go from here maybe open a beer let the thoughts fly enjoy carnal sighs before its time to say goodbye trying to hold back the tears this memory will surely last years
it may be smart to just say later pal then saunter off to our lonely spells until another chance occurs to let daily life become a blur | |
