| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/7/2009 9:07:14 AM | | Everyone I have met says I look better in person than my pics. Most people I meet don't look as good as their pics. Glad I can say its the other way around for me. | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/7/2009 7:17:32 PM | People say I look bette than my pictures,or more exotic. I accept their word, and smile. Take your compliments where you can get them! That's what I always say. | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/9/2009 7:12:22 PM | It's a difficult one - you have to bear in mind that if a person has several photos of themselves they will show the best ones and no-one looks exactly like their picture no matter how many they post. Just ensure the pics are recent pleeeeeze.
When you see a person in real life you see their shape, their posture, their real height, the way they shuffle about like a gimp, their nasty unnaturally small limp paws resting on their b***s .................. getting carried away, that was a really bad one

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/10/2009 6:28:46 AM | The last 3 guys I met didnt look anything like their pictures.I asked 2 of them if I looked like my pics and they said yes, very much so. I dont get for the life of me why someone would post a pic and not look like who they are...???? Right off the bat Im defensive because they lied right off the bat. | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/10/2009 8:09:32 AM | | i look like my pictures, except my body looks more athletic in person. men reccognize me instantly. | |
|
| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/10/2009 9:06:20 AM | Oh yes, I look exactly like my pictures!
That is, as long as the lighting is subdued. Perhaps one flickering candle... placed about 3 metres behind me... near an open window... on a windy day. Also, I insist that anyone looking directly at me, in real life, rubs vaseline on their eyeballs.

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/10/2009 2:16:29 PM | | I have been told that I look EXACTLY like my photographs, which I presume is a good thing. I typically add a new picture every two weeks or so to keep things current. My most recent one is from a few days ago displayed as the 'main' image. I do believe there is SOME difference when someone ACTUALLY sees me in the flesh, how I move, my mannerisms, smile and facial expressions come to life in three dimensions versus one. I recall meeting someone for the first time and their face lit up when they saw me and said : 'You look like.....well YOU !' I think he was pleasantly surprised and taken aback that I LOOKED like my images he had seen. ~ winks ~ | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/10/2009 2:36:17 PM | | i look like Jeniffer Lopez...of course i look like me...i have been told i look better and younger..if somebody does not look like their picture...maybe they are not good in their pictures...or the pictures are outdated..or the person is not the same...i would not take it offensive...if it is you do not worry...just ask somebody to take better pictures. | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/10/2009 5:51:29 PM | Unfortunately MINE are way to REAL... I look like that all the time--and most of the time, I couldn't hide if I wanted too - I hear someone yell *SilverCee* as soon as I hit the door! I have attend several POF events and as many as half of the attendees didn't look like their picture... So, I think I prefer to be the same in person as in photo profile. The good, the bad and the ugly----ME! | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 3:12:22 AM | | I have actually had only one person say I didnt look like my picture... tonight, as a matter of fact. We had just been through the "date from hell" (word to the wise... politics and first dates do not mix.) And so I messaged him after I got home to tell him I was sorry the date didnt go well and wish him luck in what he was looking for. He replied "You dont look like your picture." and then blocked me. My feelings were hurt initially and I almost deleted my profile to spend the rest of my life alone. lol And then I decided I was not going to let one childish comment dictate the rest of my life. lol | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 11:56:16 AM | | I've met 2 peopel from this site since I've joined and both of them picked me out in a public setting lol! This was a funny post lol! If I were to meet someone and they turned out looking NOTHING like their pic I would just say "sorry I think I have the wrong person. I thought I was meeting someone else." | |

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 12:01:56 PM | I think people should out dates on their photos. Day, month, year. Or at bare minimum spring, fall etc. and the year. I try to put the dates on mine, then there's no surprises.

| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 1:00:51 PM | I agree with TheReason (above) people should date their photos. I do, and I put up pics from a 5 years span, so I hope they represent pretty well what I look like. I've put one from every 'look' I've ever tried ... well, except the short, dark brown hair stage b/c that was just .... misguided, and I would never want anyone to see those pics! | |
|
| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 1:05:54 PM | | I have never had anyone say I do not look like my pictures, so I am assuming I look like my pictures. I have only once met someone who did not look like their pictures. Most people I have meet tend to look better than the pictures they post. I do need some new pics now that I come to think of it as the newest one I have up is about 5 months old. | |
|
| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 1:37:46 PM | | I can't imagine putting photos of me older than a few months up. For me I change my hairstyle and of course lose weight so often, who wants to look at the old ones. But I met someone a while ago whose photo never showed him smiling and there was a reason why. | |
|
| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/11/2009 2:52:45 PM | | I improve so much on a day-to-day basis that yesterday's pics don't do me justice. Why just the other day I went from a six-pack to a case. | |
|
| do you look like your pictures? Posted: 8/12/2009 12:35:20 AM | | I have gotten the phrase I look just like my photo or better, which I tell you its a relief. Honestly, being a fat chick who will never be thin no matter how HARD I tried, I don't want no drama of a guy thinking or believing I lied to him. This one dude thought I was a lot more lighter than I actually was, and I can feel his disgusted of me so strongly, it was the worst. No, I want to show how I look like as much as I can to avoid that horrible tension and feeling. | |
