I think that outdoor pictures would look the best. I'd feel like an idiot holding the camera outside and taking a picture of myself. I don't really like blinding myself with the camera's flash multiple times while indoors. My camera's flash and I need to spend some quality time together...back to the drawing board. | |

That's probably not the answer you wanted to hear but hey, that's what people say. Of course people tend to throw compliments around just to be nice. Depending on the quality of the picture... It might be a little more difficult for someone meeting you to be able to accurately guess what you look like.... perhaps youre picture was from a while back.... Maybe you were skinnier or heavier... My advice would be to keep your pics fairly current.... Not wearing a mask would help people to see you better.. perhaps facing the camera would be good....

Posted: 2/21/2006 10:10:41 PM | With the internet venue it is so hard to make decisions based on pictures so you just go into it knowing the person may look better or worse. The crucial element of body language is not there and that has so much to do with the attractiveness of a person. It is just one meeting so I make the best of it.
By the way,I do look like my pictures and they are recent.
Just wanted to tell men to BEWARE of any woman who posts a glamour shot or has 80's hair! More then likely they are old pictures! | |

I always try not to misrepresent myself; being a delicate flower, I don't think I could handle disappointment and rejection -- especially based on appearances. | |

its hard not to put pics in of urself that are flattering, as well who wants to put dowdy pics in? but.. u dont want to mislead to much.. as i said i stress.. but every now and then..
i get a message from someone saying they saw me at a club.. pub etc.. and the internet parties i go to.. have ppl coming up to me knowing who i am..
so.. i guess i do?
its all relative really.. some ppl think u look better, some the same.. some worse.. depends how ur imagining the person ur talking to online .. | |

Posted: 2/24/2006 8:26:19 PM | I love taking pictures, you can say that I am photogenic, so it's all good. I dont think there is a reason to lie about one's appearance, because you are just lying to yourself. :-)
But I should say that I dont have my hair briaded now, it's out, but that isnt a huge difference, since I have posted up some new pics.
