Posted: 3/2/2008 5:42:03 AM | | Tobermory, Ontario is great; all those wrecks are very cool, but having to wear a full wetsuit, including booties and a hood in the middle of July because the surface temperature is only 9 degrees, is not so cool LOL. Nothing beats diving in a bikini, in a warm sea or ocean :D | |

Posted: 3/4/2008 8:38:21 PM | My son and I just got certified. We did the first part up here in Ontario and the OW in Dominican Republic.
Our dive instructor used to teach in Punta Cana and said that although the water is beautiful, the visi is poor because of the pounding surf etc.
We did our dives in Puerta Plata and now I cant WAIT to go do MORE SCOOOBA!!! | |

Posted: 3/12/2008 12:56:09 PM | Ive had a lot of dives all around Australia ...., yes only around 'Oz' ...., and my favorite area is the Ningaloo reefs off the north west corner of Australia...., we seem to have everything...., well everything excepting 'crocs' that is. Just perfect.
The water is warm....,
And there is exceptional surf here too...., all in a very quiet part of the planet. | |
