| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 10:28:18 AM | I think that 19 is the way society would like to see it with exception of the hard core sex only after marriage people. I know kids these days are starting out much younger as we tend to see daycare services in most of the high schools. I heard this joke once.
Whats the definition of a virgin?
An ugly third grader.

| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 10:56:26 AM | What good would a law do?? Waste tax payers time and money?
My parents did the never have sex till your married thing, sex is a sin...gee that worked well
What I do think is that the time and effort should be put into laws protecting minors from grown adults!
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 11:02:11 AM | | who would enforce a law like this too??? Like law enforcement doesn't have enough to do already! | |
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 11:21:45 AM | Pablo, I don't think it could be enforce. It would be nice to think that I had some legal recourse if some 19 or twenty year old start dating my daughter. | |

| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 11:25:34 AM | Not sure if Jean-Paul Sartre had sex or not.

| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 11:49:57 AM | | I do not think that there is a certain age that you wake up and can be called an adult. Some kids are very mature at 16,17, while most arent. | |
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 11:53:45 AM | Princess, Trying to get a straight answer out of you is like trying to nail jello to a wall.
So if an an imature 25 year old then I should be able to have sex with a mature 15 year old.
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 11:57:02 AM | | Where did I say that?? I said there should be a law to protect minors from grown-ups who pray on teens. | |
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 12:04:17 PM | "What I do think is that the time and effort should be put into laws protecting minors from grown adults!"
I asked you when do we become adults?
"I do not think that there is a certain age that you wake up and can be called an adult. Some kids are very mature at 16,17, while most arent."
So therefore if you are mature it's ok to have sex Thus if I am let's say 30ish I can have sex with a mature 15 year old.
Ok at what age should some not be able to date a teen ager?
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 12:10:12 PM | Teens will have sex, they should have sex with other teens. Grown men/woman 25+ should not be having sex with teens, IMO. Under 25 with 18+ ain't so bad, still I wonder why people do not date someone closer to their own age. Especially when it comes to 18yr olds. Who I was at 18 is no where near who I am now. Sometime between 18-21 you are called an adult, by the government. So at that point if you want to sleep with someone old enough to be your father/mother then go for it. | |

| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 12:12:54 PM | Thanks for clearing that up.
Hope I didn't get you too hot under the collar.
So Will you post pictures of your other tats in the future?

| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/20/2006 12:39:46 PM | You know what pisses me off.
I make a reference to the age of reason AND no one gets it.
I'm going to go back to my room and sulk now.
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/7/2007 7:07:02 PM | | Depends on the person's age and upbringing. For some people 15 is fine, while for others even 21 is too early. I don't think a universal age of reason can be placed on something like sex. | |
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/7/2007 7:15:09 PM | | I think it's wierd how the age of drinking is 18 here....but the age of consent to have sex is (14, I think)......just doesn't make too much sense.....the age of consent shoud at least be the same as drinking..... | |
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/7/2007 11:00:38 PM | | IM JUST READING WONDERING WHAT YOUR GETTING AT ARE YOU WANTING SEX WITH TEEN OR WHAT? | |
|
| |
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/8/2007 3:12:26 AM | | i would say eighteen, but it would be extremely tough to enforce in this day and age, i started out young (14) but kids these days seem to be starting out even younger (i know it's sad, and scary) but yeah eighteen ideally. | |

Teens smoke Teens drink Teens do drugs Teens speed (of course not ALL teens, but many have at least tried them once) A law will not stop them from having sex either.
I live in the colonies south of Canada and we have a few states where 14 is the legal age of consent. I have a client whose daughter gave birth to her first, yes first, child at three weeks after her 13th birthday.Dad was pissed, particularly after he did the math.Gestation and all,his daughter had been playing around at early 12.It really hit the fan when she explained at age 11 she had.......you get the picture.Laws only help the lawful not stray. You might not need to be a teen to be doing things possibly of great consequence.
|
| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/9/2007 8:16:34 AM | Well I have a daughter, so I like to think 20 is a pretty reasonable age....right after the wedding | |

| sex & age of reason.... Posted: 2/9/2007 9:12:48 AM | The age of conscent in the uk is 16 and 14 in scandanavian countries. The age of conscent is to protect the mind and body of a juvenile from elder preditors . Its not right that a man could have sex with a 16 yr old when he may be 35 but our law allows this although your not regarded as an adult untill 21 coming of age as its known . We can vote at 18 ,ride a scooter at 16 ,learn to drive when 17.drink when 18 ,smoke at 16 .by law . I'd keep everything at 16 ..Its an insult to the youth that so many age restrictions are apparent . The age of pubery has dropped by 6 months in the last decade for women here .Its now around 11 yrs 9 months average ,some cultures this is regarded as woman hood .. How ever you have to protect the mind and soul of a juvenile .The Uk has the highest teen pregnancy rate in europe under 16 . So sais alot really in general terms . | |
