| Why don't people like to use condoms when we know there are deadly diseases we can catch? Posted: 11/24/2005 5:51:25 PM | I have recently had the scare of my life, so now i will never, ever have sex without a condom and if he doesn't want to use one....no sex. I am not risking myself again for anyone. My tests all came back negative, and i think of this as a new beginning. However, the tests were sent on a friday and i didn't get my results back until wed pm. I spent those days thinking I was going to be alone for the rest of my life. I would rather have sex with a condom than be alone (however if I am in a serious relationship I might consider not useing one). I hate condoms as much as the next person but my life will not be put in jeporady again, due to a few minutes of bad desicion making, and all for a few minutes of pleasure? makes no sense to me. I always have a condom on hand in case I meet a woman that requires a condom. Fortunately it's surprisingly not that often in this day and age. I smoke and drink too. If I pay, I pay. I won't lose sleep over it. | |

To prevent this such famine on the world around us, latex, sheepskin, rubber, whatever the make of the condom, it's still a million times smarter than to go bare, Because many times you cannot be totally sure about your partners sexual background all the time. Hopefully some people will take my thoughts to heart on this subject. Although I personally dislike wearing condoms, I always do and will continue to do so until I am merried and know that the girl I end up with is my soulmate.

I swear, if these guys are really so incredibly hot in bed, you'd think they'd have the creativity to USE the condom in a really sexy way. They should be able to take anything and keep the lovin' going and never lose their stride. If they're such a Romeo.
If they need direct penile stimulation so much, I'd start to wonder if they'd ever heard the word "foreplay". Sex is 99% in the brain anyways.
And if they really cared about me, they'd want to protect me from diseases. If they won't even protect themselves, I won't even try to guess how little they'd care to protect me.
Guys and girls have many and varied excuses for not using condoms. It all boils down to the fact that they believe the risks of disease and agony are worth the temporary sexual release. That kind of reasoning is illogical to me and thus unattractive.

Posted: 11/26/2005 4:07:00 PM | | When I first became sexually active I was too embarrassed to purchase condoms in the drug store and chose instead to get them in a gas station bathroom. Then once I was flush with confidence I proudly strutted up to the pharmacy cashier and presented my one dollar bill for two condoms. I nearly died when she said that would be 1.06. Of course I asked what the six cents were for when the package was clearly marked 2 for one dollar. She replied the .06 was for tax, and although I'm smaller than the smallest condom I'm not about to use those to keep them on.

Posted: 12/11/2005 5:08:15 AM | When a guy suggests going uncovered ("I can't feel anything", "it will be much better for both of us this way", "I can last longer without one", blah, blah, blah), that's when I suggest getting some blood work done, become monogamous, show me your vasectomy papers, etc. They start hemming and hawing, and making up excuses.
Yeah, right.... that's what I thought. Get up, get dressed and GET OUT!
Besides, if they want it uncovered with me, they have done it with other women uncovered (or who knows, even MEN), and that's not acceptable to me at all.
Condoms are not "one size fits all".... sure is nice to find those Magnum men, though.
