Actually, they make great pets...and yes, I am serious. I would have more problem if a guy had tarantulas for pets...then, i've gotten in trouble for not mentioning that I have 5 dogs, before meeting a date. Oh, well. | |

They make really good pets, soooo much better then hampsters or gerbils, those tend to bite and be very unfriendly. Rats are very smart, clean, and have great personalities! I loved my pet rat!!! I would have one again, if I had the opportunity! There is a lot of judgements made about them based on misinformation, kinda unfair, they have a bad reputation, lol!!! | |

I agree with the original post. I think that people that have rats and snakes as pets have something wrong with them. I don't know which of the two is more disgusting.
And exactly what is wrong with a snake? There's nothing disgusting about it. They don't even make a smell. I've never had rats 'cept for snake food but people on here seem to say they're good pets. You people seriously need to try some new things. | |
