| first concert? Posted: 6/29/2006 4:00:25 PM | Horselady. I saw that same tour of Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister but in Vancouver. I remember when the giant Eddy came out at the end his arm knocked over a bunch of symbols off the drum kit..lol Also, there was a moment when what looked like smoke shooting upwards from behind the drums was really 2 guys laying on their backs shooting fire extinguishers straight up. Where i was sitting I could see it clearly. Boy that ruined the magic. I have seen a ton of shows in my 42 years. My first was in 1973. it was and NO LAUGHING PLEASE... Tony Orlando & Dawn. Ya I know ha ha. I was taken with my family. Then in 78 I had the most unpleasnt experience of seeing the Bee Gees Saturdaynight fever tour. But I have seen many metal shows since and Kiss being my fav act I have seen them 10 times since 79. | |

But why have any shame now?
My first concernt was Michael Jackson. In Toronto. When I was 12. With all the Jackson Five!
I couldn't see a thing, but loved it all. I wore my sweater and took my concert book to school the next day, which managed to confirm with many people that I was a complete dork lol

| first concert? Posted: 2/6/2007 6:49:48 PM | Michael Jackson also took my cherry.
First concert was 1984. Managed to get someone else's replacement tickets from behind the ticket window. 2nd roll. The stage was really high, couldn't see a thing.
He was good, so good...he's bad! Moon walked he’s way right into my 13 years old heterosexual heart.
I was also on TV that same night. Mike Harcourt (then Mayor of Vancouver) was doing the bridge closing ceremony for the old Cambie Street Bridge. I had a quarter...of a half second of fame on CTV.

My last concert was dixie chicks, only because someone's boyfriend was out of town and I got the extra ticket. Way cool
