I've been to very few concerts

First one was 1987 in Ottawa. Technically the concert was Parachute Club but I wanted to go because the opening act - 8 Seconds - had the one hit wonder of the day "I'll Kiss You When It's Dangerous". 8 Seconds were fabulous! Parachute club was tolerable.
Later that year I saw Corey Hart in concert. Loved it! Loved him! Loved every song! Had no voice left afterwards!

Next concert I went to was Foreigner reunion 1992 in Sudbury ON. Again with the no voice left afterwards.

I saw Doug & The Slugs at PNE late 90's early '00's ?? Fun stuff. RIP Doug.

Last summer saw Megan Slankard Band. Interesting.

That's it.

P.S. Metallica, Finger Eleven and Disturbed are on my to do list!

My first concert was when I was 12. My Daddy took my brother and I to Guns and Roses. It was the best experience ever. To bad Axel is such a sissy and the band broke up. I would love to see them again and partake in the festivities.

My first rock concert was awesome. It was Judas Priest on the Painkiller tour with Testament and Megadeth as the warmup acts. And it was even on Halloween. How cool is that?

Maybe that's the same concert blew iis went to?

The Jacksons Victory Tour in 1984 at BC Place ... Sat about 7 rows from the back of the arena, but we snuck down to the floor. Had a security guy chase us

My first live concert was at the Australian Boy Scouts Jamboree in 1977. An Aussie band called "Ol' 55" was the headline act. They were a pretty popular 50s revival band of the time. They had an album called "Take it Greasy" which had sold well by Australian standards.

My next concert will be in Chicago on March 5th - The Who at the Sears Centre. I couldn't get anyone to come along with me, so I donated a ticket to to raise funds to build toilets at a school in Ethiopia (a fund-raising project driven by my employer).

Hmm ... Fleetwood Mac in Calgary .... 1977?

Last one was U2 in Van last year - that one totally rocked, worth every penny we spent on eBay, lol. Got to stand in the inner circle on the floor and Bono sweated on us!

Gun's N Roses, Poison, Janet Jackson & Bon Jovi I believe were some of my "firsts". There were Paula Abdul, Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith, a tonne in between there when I was overseas, I think the last couple were Dixie Chicks & Gwen Stefani. LMAO

This thread brings back memories. I think my first one was either ZZ Top or ACDC - I went to a lot of heavy rock concerts. Poison, Gun's N Roses, David Lee Roth, Midnight Oil at the Thunderbird - that was very good, Bryan Adams, Supertramp and the BeeGees. My very first was supposed to be Elvis Presley, however my parents decided I was to young to head to Seattle for that one with friends - too bad it was one of his last concerts.

My first concert was at Rich Stadium in Buffalo New York

Superfest 1981...

Supertramp
Foreigner
REO Speedwagon
Aerosmith

It was amazing and the tickets were only $15!!!!

After that I turned into a total band groupie going to every concert within 100miles....

Now my last concert was Thornley in Hamilton Ontario in 2005.

Time for a concert I think.....
