For me, sex has always been something that I'd just use in fantasies; there was never a particular urge to make any of those fantasies real. I picked up from books and so on that sex is something you're supposed to do in a relationship/marriage, that I should worry if I was still a virgin at a late age, but that was all external to my actual desires. And it wasn't a gay thing; I didn't feel any more urges toward men than women.
Anecdote: there was one woman I dated who made it clear that she didn't believe in sex before marriage. I agreed to that, with no thought that I'd have to struggle to control myself in that situation; my only worry was that if we did end up getting married, I'd be agreeing to have sex AFTER the marriage without knowing whether I'd actually like it. As it turned out, we had four dates, which never got as far as a kiss goodnight, and then she cancelled the fifth date and wouldn't call me back. I had been considering saying something like "Should we be kissing by this point?", but that was just from knowing what people normally do on dates, not from any desire in me to kiss her. | |

Well, I asked you the pointed question about the antidepressants, because that is my situation. I learned about sex as something that is natural, and forthcoming when two people get together and are inseparable. However, I came to my own conclusions about it, because I have been computer savy from a young age. The gateway, the internet, is purely an educational tool for me. Of course, I have seen my fair share of pornography.

Then I went through a major breakdown in every area of my life, couldn't see up for down.. left for right.. inside for outside.. evil or good.. got taken for a trip through my mind, my social being and my binding force was torn to shreds. I was sick of being different and thought that having sex would be a way for me to reconcile my differences.
a year and a half later and I've had 3 partners. I've decided once more to abstain from sex but this time I'm going to avoid masturbating as well. It's been 2 weeks so far and I really hope the good Lord finds me a wife soon.
