| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 5/18/2007 4:11:48 PM | Most virgins I know are not Christian and have no interest in becoming so. Most "loose" individuals I know ARE Christian. Your mileage may vary, but based on my experience, if you are looking for a Christian virgin who is willing to wait... good luck. | |

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 6/29/2007 10:07:10 PM |
It seems like you meet girls that are waiting until marriage every now and then, but you hardly ever meet a guy who is waiting. I am trying to wait ( I am not a virgin but I want to stop and wait since I have become a Christian I have went over this and over this ) and it would really help me if I met a guy who was the same, but it just doesn't seem like that is a possibility. So my question is ......... are there any out there anymore?
Good for you flshygrl! And yes male virgins do exist. The thing is, does it really matter if he is a virgin or not?

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 8/9/2007 6:29:20 PM | Of course Male Virgins exist. Did you think boy babies were born in a non-virginal state? But then they grow up, and frantically try to change that, so then answer becomes:
They exist, just never intentionally.

It seems that you are asexual orientation - no desire of having sex with another person. There are a few internet sites like that out - are you a member of AVEN?

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 8/12/2007 11:27:11 AM | Avraham,
You said: " There have been many times where i've been in the club, and have had the opportunity to dispose of my virginity. But why should I? Being a virgin is unique, it is an experience in and of itself. Sure, I don't share it with others (not referring to my virginity), but it is something that I carry with me everywhere I go. I do not care about other people's opinions, I am no more no less of a person because of my lack of sexual exploits ." Page 1.
I think the same way too, being a virgin is unique, and get's more unique the older you get, so it's one of those things that becomes part of my identity.

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 8/12/2007 11:51:17 AM | peaceful_hermit,
" I'd bet a ton of cash that there's more male virgins than female ones. If a woman is even remotely attractive, she's getting harassed constantly by men.
So if she wants to retain her virginity, she has to work at it. Conversely, a male has to work at losing his virginity. So I'm sure there's more male than female virgins. " I totally agree with this. If I wanted to lose my virginity, I'd likely have to go on a focused campaign of some sort, or use a prostitute, and this is high-risk stuff since you can get std's or whatever. A gal on the other hand would have had to blown-off lots of people.
I have in the fact, worked at losing my virginity at periodic moments, only to abort the mission even after wasting lots and lots of time in the process going there. What turned out was that I'm playing a game of chicken at testing my boundaries to see how far I would go before buckling out.
Anyway, I feel somewhat discouraged at keeping my virginity since I think it's virtually impossible to meet a virgin woman because I think all women these days are not virgins after a certain age and would be surprized if any where one - I think around 25 y/o, most women would lose their virginity - and not likely beyond 28 years.
So, the older I get, the less likely it is for me to mate with someone who is under 25 y/o, and that means it's less likely to find a virgin parter for marriage, hence this is very discouraging for me.

Male Virgins? Do they exist?
Certainly.
Many guys simply lack the charisma and self confidence to pick up a woman to pop their cherry. I'm sure there's plenty of guys out there, who while won't admit it, just never got 'lucky' or keep messing up what few opportunities they do get.
On the other hand, sometimes there are guys out there who honestly want their first time to be special and with someone they genuinely care about and trust to take that very intimate step.
Heck, sometimes friends and acquiantances are genuinely shocked when a guy admits he is still virgin.
*coughs* I wouldn't know anything about that though, really!

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 8/12/2007 7:35:21 PM | A_Cool_Guy, don't feel too bad. I'm a woman having the same problem, trying to find a man who is a virgin. I haven't had any real luck with men in my area. Some I've decided to meet in person through the internet didn't leave a good impression on me. I wasn't really attracted to them; at least one was decent, but I just didn't feel anything.
I've often wondered, as silly as it sounds (and I know there will probably be some people who will read this who'll lol), why there isn't some website dedicated to virgins seeking virgins. Not that that would make life a lot easier since we'd still have the problem of sifting through potential people until we find one we spark with. I think the idea is doable, though. And I'm not talking about Christian sites, either, because I'm not, but I think an all inclusive website or group like that could work. Maybe it's idealistic, but who knows until it's actually done.

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/16/2007 3:12:03 PM | | They certainly do exist. Plenty of them. I am one but not by choice. Because I am an incel, involuntarily celibate. Too shy to meet girls. I am not religious. In fact I am an atheist. | |
|
| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/16/2007 3:18:04 PM | some people are `A` sexual, which means they are not into females or males. In fact, sex binds one to material nature, and is no good for spiritual advancement. | |

Let's see, 'spiritual advancement', or survival of the species.
Boy, that's a really tough question, isn't it? *rolls eyes*

They certainly do exist. Plenty of them. I can even quantify that statement to show that there are more male virgins out there than people realize.
According to a recent U.S. Government survey (I can provide the link if anyone is interested), 4.5% of all U.S. males and 3.7% of all U.S. females ages 20-59 have never ever had sex (for whatever reasons). So, for males, that comes out to over 3.5 million virgins just in the U.S.! Thread answered, case closed.

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/16/2007 5:21:23 PM | | Virginity is way over-rated...have a happy and healthy sex life, and you are far better off than someone who isn't. Take a look at any religious sect that has a "vow of celibacy" Much easier to check into that then it used to be! Compare the sexual problems they contend with as compared to those having a sex life...then tell me again that virginity s comehting to be covetted. (yes, I realise they are not the same thing...but never trying something as compared to the so-called "giving it up" means the same...they aren't getting any.) | |

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/16/2007 5:39:58 PM | Wait, if someone takes a vow of celibacy that doesn't mean they are a virgin or not before that vow is made, it's only in effect after such a vow is made. I dont believe in a vow of celibacy - but I believe in making a commitment with the Lord to be obedient to His will as the Bible says, and not what a quasi christianized pagan institution says which you are referring to here.
The Bible doesn't prohibit marriage, in fact, any doctrine which explicitly forbids marriage (i.e. vow of celibacy) is diabolical (references of scripture upon request).
Part of the Bible's teachings, is that if you must have sex with someone YOU MARRY THEM then you have sex.
Now, let's look at the other side of the fence, instant sex society, you've got STD's all around, herpes and all sorts of fallout when it comes to having sex with anyone or the wrong person. Just think, why are there so many STD's around if having a promiscious sex life is so great? The Bible really has it head on - having one person to live with your life where you have sex together and build a family is the way to go.
|
| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/16/2007 11:15:29 PM | | I would't pay too much attention to what the bible says. There's lots of crazy stuff in there and the bible and only one book. There are plenty of beeter books and plenty of other religions. | |
|
| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/20/2007 8:04:19 PM | I don't think Virginity has anything to do with religion in a flat world that we have today. Most guys who are late in their 20s and are still a virgin [my case I am almost 27 and a Virgin] are virgins due to other reasons.
Speaking for myself.. I know why I am one.. - I think it is coz I was wired that way. Most of my foolin around age, I spent in a boarding school for guys ONLY with tall fencing walls, then falling in love was easy, and it so happened that it was a long distance relationship. I was so madly in love with the girl that I waited for yrs to be with her.. but it never happened.. we grew out of it and went our ways.. that probably did it for me. Since then I have been unable to approach women in a way which would have a sex appeal of any sort to them. And even if I try to approach women, I mess it up. It has become kind of a phobia I think..
Yeah.. so most of the older guys who are Virgins.. would be for some reason of their own. Nothing to do with religion any more.. Atleast I haven't met a guy who is Virgin coz of religious issues. I have met lot's of guys who are virgins for other reasons like me.

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/21/2007 1:39:35 PM | Yeah, male virgins do exist. but I think the real question is DO FEMALE virgins exist as much as male virgins do exist? The answer to this question might be fascinating. I'm tired of this over generalization everywhere. No matter where you go, either in Vegas or in Iran, male and female virgins do exist. either intentionally or otherwise. and I do believe that if you are a virgin, you deserve to lose it with another virgin.
Just mariana's 2 cents | |

| Male Virgins? Do they exist? Posted: 9/26/2007 6:54:47 AM | | There are slightly more male virgins than females. I am a member of an incel forum (involuntary celibates) and there are quiet a few women on it. There is a popular perception that women are rarely virgin against choice but this is not the case. In fact there are more incels than is generally realised. Some stats suggest that 4% of the population never have sex. | |
