I said that a multi-age gathering would be completely fine, but what she was suggesting was that the OP organize SEPARATE gatherings for multiple age groups. My comment was simply to state that I didn't believe it to be the OP's responsibility to organize separate gatherings. I suggested that if she wanted to have a separate gathering that she should start a separate post for it. In fact, I specifically said in my posting:
Not that everyone isn't welcome of course, but you'd have to put up with us 20's and 30's young'ins over the course of the evening. :)
Also, I reviewed my original post and nowhere do I refer to that age group as "they". In fact it is only you who has used the word "they". So I don't see where I am discriminating? Most of my co-workers are 40's + 50's themeselves and when we go out to a pub for some drinks we have a hoot! And if you still don't like what I said, well that's why I apologized at the beginning of it. So unless you yourself want to organize separate events for different age groups, I really don't see why you are complaining. | |

Click on Forums...
Then pick Canada
Then select your province....
We have Meets ALL of the time....for ALL age groups...
Some are at the pub...some are at the Zoo...some involve Monsters...and then again..some don't!..........Some are in Edmonton...Some are in Calgary....and some are in Red Deer.....and ppl travel from the different cities to the different parties......Its a blast...but I do warn you....It can become addictive....... | |

It's at Bo Diddley's West. I'm fairly certain Shells posted the link to it above so no need for me to duplicate.
There is also something planned for Finnegan's on Fort Road & 137th for Saturday night.
Bah, I'm getting in here late, everyone's handled everything else.

We can watch and bet on the races and after we can have a nice BBQ at Bordon Park and its right across the street. . The washrooms should be open there as well. I think it would be awesome !
