I think there could be a good turn out if there is a lincoln area meet, someone get one sorted! Id volunteer to arrange but final year and month of uni kinda traps me under the piles of paper work at the moment. | |

My parents live there and I will heading up shortly, either the bank hol at the end of May or the first weekend of June.
I am more than happy to arrange one in Lincoln as I hosted the first one in Worcester on Friday and had a great time!!
I did live there for 6 months a couple of years ago although I'm sure all the pubs have changed ... so basically I'll need some suggestions on venue as I won't be able to get up there prior. The best places are where they have a seperate area, perhaps an upstairs that we might be able to have exclusively. A Saturday night would be best as I found with Worcester that people weren't able to arrive til quite late on the Friday due to working.
It doesn't matter if a venue charges a door fee although by the POF rules we cannot host in a place that actually charges to rent out a space.
So please let me know if there are any good places either Cathedral end, down the high street, or perhaps along the waterfront! And perhaps if anyone would like to give me a hand as co-host that would be handy and then there would be someone based there to go into venues etc .....
