Well, I should clarify by saying he was a guy I worked with and we didn't date, just ended up together one night and it was an ongoing casual thing that started to get a bit out of hand. I felt like I was dating him with all that bad male behaviour!!

Some feel a negative moral judgement about having a one night stand, perceiving that to have one, some or many is somehow being sexually promiscuous or showing signs of being morally loose, a hangover of the guilts various religions have placed upon sex outside of procreation (even non procreational sex within marriage is in some religions considered sinful).
Provided that it is consensual, affectionately entered into, respectful, responsible (taking precautions against unwanted pregnancy and transmission of STDs) is not exploitive, and doesn't harm other relationships, then who cares! | |

Its so i can try and get closer to someone. If it turns out you didnt feel closer to them then you know that you wont be able to have an intimate relationship..therefor becoming a one night stand..

And for those people that call a female a slut just cos a female wants to have some fun with out the commitment good on them, I really think you guys need to look at your own life as I am sure plenty of people have had one night stands and just don’t like to admit it for the same reason they call others sluts and so on, as for the slut/stud stupidity well some people need to feel better for their short comings.
