| Tattoos and body piercings Posted: 3/14/2006 2:52:30 AM | times change
in the early 80's i got my first two $15 and $45 each and i was a bad boy.
we used to pierce our ears with a match box behind your ear and a needle
first early tatts in our neighbour hood were either a match head rubbed and rubbed until it made a scar or pin with cotton wrapped around it to hold ink, indian ink was best, and repeatedly jabbed ............

| Tattoos and body piercings Posted: 3/14/2006 5:58:42 AM | Please if you get those "stretchers" for the ears, be very careful!!! Hygiene for one, don't handle them too much, make sure they are clean!! When pushing them through, make sure you don't push them too far at once!! And also the material of the stretcher!!
My son has blood poisoning from his!! I'm really worried now as he isn't with me for the sholidays.. he's away in Sale. But i got told late tonight and can't be there, and told not to drive this late at tnight. So going in the morning.. this is my son, when a child of yours is sick you want to be there with them. But he's with his pop, and know if i drive his pop will freak more, but i'm asking for all to be very careful with your peircings and the hygiene and of course the materials. If you get them, you need to LOOK after them!!

But my son does all teh wrong things from the handling f it etc.. an yep.. he did push it to far at once. He knew that you only do it slowly over a matter of time. His aunt thouh i know she will be worrying now.my ex's sister. My son though, think it has taught him a lesson.
Spoke to him briefly on the phone to let him know I'll be there sometime today. he's not well at all, very breathless etc too. thanks dream...

| Tattoos and body piercings Posted: 3/14/2006 3:24:58 PM | It sounds Mish like although his aunt meant well, he should have gone to a professional piercer who would have used a dermal punch to start off with a fairly large hole and inserted the proper jewellery. This lessens the risk of infection but once they leave the piercers premises, they have to be trusted to look after it themselves. You dont say how old he is but i try to ask the right questions and if I dont think it's something theyre committted to, I wont do it. Noone should poke holes in themselves or get a tat because its a fad or because all thier friends have them. Just my ramblings on it. Take my advice for what it's worth and it's free! | |

| Tattoos and body piercings Posted: 3/14/2006 7:08:30 PM | his aunt is a professional tattoist and piercer. she's done my tatts and my piercings and I don't have a problem. The problem lays with my sons own hygiene. Lesson, keep things clean..do as a peircer instructs on cleaning and hygiene. He has learnt from it,and NO he will not be getting anything done till he actually leaves high school! now that it's out it stays out!
The jewellry was taken off him at school my son without thinking like alot of us do, has put it straight back into his ear when he got it back. he put it in too fast as well. So other ppls hands have been on it..not only that but apprently my ex was saying my son was playing with the animals at his pops, and went to push this thing in without washing his hands! as I said things he didn't think about. That I had actually just found out on the phone with the ex. I am heading there in a few mins and stayin the night.
as i said..he won't be putting the thing back in his ear. But hope for others that read this..make sure that any jewelry you have is always clean and hands are too when handling it. i havent had a problem with my nor have my girls.
Thanks dream. | |

| Tattoos and body piercings Posted: 3/16/2006 5:29:32 AM | I gotta agree, just a few tat's on a chic is hot. My ex had a tat on her lower back, and i loved it ;), she also had one on her wrist. Again i think just a few, not too many. I also think a small tat on the back of the neck looks good on a chic. My ex ex had one on her hip of a playboy bunny which was pretty hot.
I've got a couple of tat's myself, one on my chest that says Eternal Faith in chinese and some pattern behind it, and one on the inside of my bicep. I think they're kinda addictive ey? I'm thinking of getting one more soon but not sure of what yet.
Cheers,

| Tattoos and body piercings Posted: 3/16/2006 10:12:15 PM | I have a tatt and a few piercings - I had an eyebrow bar but I got bored of it and decided to take it out, I can always re-pierce it though. I used to do body piercing - it was a hoot watching some big tough guy come in with his mates and then fainting on the floor in a heap at the sight of his own blood! Ive had my sister-in-law faint on me too! | |
