i dont have any tatts or piercings.... however i did have my ears done when i was ten.. my sister then at the time took one of my good earings as she was doing her 4th hole in her ear... so my set was split up.... never wore anything again... let them close up...
my brother inlaw when we met him had a bull ring... he took it out now he cant smell certain things...had stakes in his ears to stretch the lobe.... took them out but has normal studs now.... he just got his nipple pierced... both sister and brother inlaw have tongue studs... i think he still has his lip ring... i dont know about the eyebrow one though....lol... i dont see him that much and they live upstairs...lol...
scared to death of getting a tatt... something about needles doesnt do it for me... my sister has two.. brother inlaw has abuot 5...
have no problems with people that have them... each to the own... have them for their own reasons... i just dont like pain... and admire a person that can go thru something like that... | |

I had my nipple pierced a couple of years ago. That was a mid-life crisis thing...choices were to either buy a Harley or get divorced and get a piercing. Guess what I did? Anyway, what it all comes down to is that I did those things for myself...not to impress anyone else. | |

My sis-in-law does piercings and tattoos. She did a couple of mine.
We got talking about the best time to get them and she had said that in your later yrs, after having kids etc is the best because your body has already gone through stretching and some aging etc.
I have 5 kids, got my first one about 2-3 yrs ago. One of my girls want them when she turns 18, have asked her to hold off least a bit longer, but it makes sense to have them later on.
I'm happy with mine, and glad I had em done. | |

I personally don't like a lot of tattoos, but if they are tastefully done I quite admire them, I wouldn't judge someone by their tattoos, anymore than I more than I would judge them for their life experiences.
I don't have tattoos myself, but, I do have piercings... ears... well thats pretty acceptable and my belly button... that not a lot of people see  I just look at them as fashion accessories. | |
