Posted: 8/7/2007 9:27:31 PM | I went and sang karaoke for the first time last week. LOL it was a hoot. I've been in bands for over 20 years, so it was kind of strange #1: not wearing a guitar while singing, and #2: not being surrounded by a band, but it was fun as hell!
I sang:
Blow at High Dough, by The Tragically H ip
Surrender, by Cheap Trick
and
Head over Heels, by Blue Rodeo.

I am 54 years old now, but I have never forgotten a guy named Joe --- met him before I was married and lost my husband ---- he always sang to me. It was one of the reasons I liked him so much. There was also a man I dated four years ago, Bob, who used to sing to me. He is another guy I will never forget. It is soooo sensual when a man sings to a woman. Again, go for it since it is very appealing and not corny! | |
