I heard the other day someone comparing him to George Clooney...lol. Why? Simply because he has grey hair? That's so annoying.
Like when my stupid US Weekly says that Kristen-MTV-Reality-Show-Chick is a "dead ringer" for Jessica Simpson...you know, since they're both blonde and have been romantically involved with Nick Lachey.

Posted: 5/23/2006 10:01:47 PM | Taylor is by far the better of the two finalists. He looks relaxed and it feels like he is just up there having fun.
As for the song Kat sang as her last song, I felt sorry for her. It so sucked out loud. It didn't suit her voice or her style.
Taylor just makes everything he sings his own. His voice and mannerisms are an odd cross of Joe C. and Elvis. I think that is why he did so well on Elvis night.
Not sure about Simon giving him the "You won the contest tonite." speech, though. Taylor did score big, but the votes gotta be counted. And what he said may play into that somehow.
I am just hoping that it doesn't. Go Taylor!

I still like Taylor and we already have a Kelly Clarkson out there we don't need another (Kat). I think Taylor is refreshing and fun to watch. Good luck Taylor!

C note.....I was wondering the very same thing.....who got the black car?
I think Katherine performed very well last night, but it was Taylor that should have taken it. It was nice to see him win, as he sure deserved it.
This was my first season of watching American Idol, and I got hooked. Haven't seen Canadian Idol as yet......is it any good? (all you Idol experts???) | |

Posted: 5/25/2006 11:31:56 PM | I was happy for the Taylor win ... If it couldn't be Chris or Elliott then I was hoping it was him. It's nice to see someone out there who's having a good time and can laugh at himself. I think his personality really showed through week after week. Also, I noticed his reactions to the eliminations of the contestents were with true sadness and I got the impression that Kat's were more like, "Phewf, another one down!"

The guy I want to win doesn't come in 2nd!!! :) Out of the final two, I am happy that Taylor won - the highlight of the night for me though was when that geeky creepy dude started singing and Clay walked up behind him and he just about fell over!!! It was so cool to see that Clay still has that affect on his fans!!! There hasn't been that kind of "awe-struck" fanbase for as long as I can remember and it's great to see it again!!! :) (Okay, so the dude is probably gonna be a raving psycho... but one can hope?)
