I work with people, and some of them have no taste! Men and women both pour on the scent first thing in the morning, thinking it'll last all day, and it's as if I'm getting slapped in the face with it. They don't realize 4 hours AFTER they leave the room, the scent is still there!

I have used one scent since 1978 for 2 reasons. People have claimed to HATE it, then unaware, they ask what I'm wearing. And it keeps mosquitos away!!!

A man kissed me goodbye one night, and later I noticed his scent on my sweater. I walked around sniffing my sweater and smiling for hours (and smiling!) The next time I saw him, he told me the name. I bought a bottle for myself, and often spray it on the sheets before I go to bed at night. When I happen across someone else wearing it, I can't help turning as he walks by.

Kuros by Yves Saint Larent. Walk by me wearing it and my nose, then the rest of my body follow. I dated a guy who wore it and even if he walked up behind me, when the scent hit me my panties got wet. He gave a sample bottle to one of the guys I worked with and I finally had to ask the guy not to wear it to work because it was too distracting.

I love for my men to wear cologne.. its sexy and shows they care about how they smell when they're being intimate with you.

There's nothing sexier than the scent of a man.. clean.. lightly scented...nothing too over powering ~ allowing just a bit of his own masculine scent to come through... the way it lingers on my clothing... my skin, and my hair.
I love going to bed with his scent on me... it makes me feel close to him ~ like he's still holding me in his arms.

Favorite scent on a man ~ Jean Paul Gautier.. Male! Love the bottle too! lol

I like a man who smells good. Some need only ivory soap and their own skin. Some are scrumptious in curve or axe. depends on the guy and his chemistry.

The anti-smell....one that makes me instantly turn off? Alcohol seeping out of the pores.

I guess I need to find one cologne and stick with it I guess, but it's hard to find the right one.

Patrick,

You might try going to your local department store and asking for several samples of different colognes. Then, over the course of the next couple of weeks, alternate them every two or three days. The one that brings you the most compliements from women is what you should go with.

This worked for me and to this day I still have people stop and ask me what perfume I'm wearing (some even write it down). I've even had guys come up to me and ask if they could 'smell me' only to press their nose against my neck and take a deep whiff. I don't let them do that anymore. I knew this was the scent for me as practically every man I came in contact with commented on how beautiful I smell. Women never did...I knew they were just jealous.

I don't doubt the perfume smells wonderful, but I think you're beauty is what the men are admiring most.

Scents are nice on a women, some better than others. What I don't like is someone who uses TO much. That puts me off just a bit.

My first serious love wore a perfume called "Jungle Gardenia", and I could never ever smell that scent again without immediately thinking of her. Unfortunately (or maybe FORTUNATELY?), it's no longer available.

meh...to each her own, but I find the cheaper very alchohol based stuff to all have the same sharp unpleasant afternote. The good stuff uses a better base...longer lasting , too...so in the long run, the expense evens out.

well pandy what does it for you??

givenchy's "Pi", "bvlgari", liz claiborne's "sparks", and my latest favorite is "platinum egoiste" by chanel , mmmmmmmmmmmmm

^^^^^ I have to agree with Pandy. The alcohol smell in most cheap / inexpensive colognes always makes me think of 13-year-old boys (and girls) piling the stuff on at Wal-Mart! I have Jr High flashbacks!

But everybody's different, so wear what you like. Just make sure not to bathe in it, and make sure that you still like it a few hours after you put it on, since scents change over time according to your body chemistry! (I made the mistake of buying one without wearing it first - my friend used it and always smelled so good. When I wore it, it smelled beautiful initially, but after an hour or two it smelled really rank on my skin!)

YES...if you like it, you'll like "sparks" as well, they both have spicy, cinnamony notes
.
I hope the OP doesn't have any more doubt that scent DOES work to attract the opposite sex.

Put two mildly attractive men side by side and one has a killer scent, there is no DOUBT which one I'm attracted most to.

I agree thats one of the worst smells in the world the guy that came to install my phone smelled of that and had that smell burnt into my nose for two days and all the air freshener wouldn't eliminate it.Being a bouncer that smell is all to familiar.I glad most drunks just want there drink and not to fight having to grab one that smells that way eliminates the cologne that i wear as its not a over powering cologne. And I wear Realem.

OMG yes, it DOES work. Stetson, yummy.
From the feedback I've gotten, ET's ' Passion' has the same effect on the guys.

P.S. I don't think there's anything worse than someone who smokes a few packs of cigarettes a day and lives in a house full of smokers YECKKKKKKKKKK. Smell hits you about 5 feet before they get anywhere near you; theres not enough cologne or Febreze in the world to cover up that stink ! Won't even discuss the breath ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ill pass on the "axe" for men lol seeing how my son wears it. Im more the gucci or givenchy type or just plain ole soap does it for me- a great smelling guy gets my attention. As for me Im a givenchy "very irresistable" or a chanel girl... havent had any complaints yet lol

lol I never get compliements from woman only men :)
Funny I was at work and one guy told the other guy he smelled bad, and then he said I smelled good. we were all laughing but it was funny the way it said it.

I love Tommy or Eternity on a guy. They are not so overpowering and just yummy enough.
