Body chemistry has alot to do with it as well. I wear it, and have had nothing but positive results. Even moreso when smoking clove cigarettes, the blend seems to be a knockout.
Far from my favorite colonge tho... British Sterling once made a colonge called "Silver." It was cheap stuff, but smelled incredible... I was told it tasted good too. Alas, it seems to have disappeared, leaving only the rancid British Sterling behind.
As for perfumes... Any woman wearing Exclamation or Sunflowers around me is at risk of getting pounced and smooched upon.

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 4/9/2006 8:48:21 PM | | If the perfume mixes well with your natural scent it does work. I wear differents scents for different days. When I buy perfume it takes me a while because you have to try it to see if it mixes well with your scent even if you like the scent it can smell obnoxious on you. | |

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 4/11/2006 11:19:24 PM | I prefer men who wear sharp cologne scents....or nothing at all..nothing nicer than a man who smells like himself....
A man's personal smell is soooooo wonderful - especially after a day at the beach ...or just a few hours afer he's taken a shower.
I love men -

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 4/16/2006 12:30:23 PM | | Tommy Hilfiger makes me HOT! I absolutely love that stuff! If you were with a woman and she bought you something that she liked, would you wear it to please her? Is it about pleasing yourself or attracting your partner? What about you guys, and favorite scents for us women to wear? | |
|
| Does perfume really work? Posted: 4/16/2006 1:22:51 PM | If a man smells good it will stop me in my tracks! Can you say "Lie down I think I love you! If he smells good .......hmmmmmm....sorry can't get past that! LOL mthr | |

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 4/16/2006 4:20:20 PM | I have caught myself turning around when a man passes by wearing some amazing perfume... If I'm lucky his look fits with his smell, lol! Cheap colognes can be a real turn off though. I like more subtle scents, that you can smell within a close radius, it just makes me want to come closer…
I personally like Azzaro, and also Cool Water by Davidoff...

| Does Men's COLOGNE really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 10:18:02 AM | mmmm, yeah - a good, subtle cologne/aftershave is very sexy...
Well it can backfire definitely if it is the wrong scent.Say the woman is allergic to it, I have experienced this my eyes & face swelled up. Fortunately, I have yet to come across a cologne that I'm allergic to. However, I am severely allergic to perfume - splitting headache within minutes of putting it on - so I try to tell myself that perfume just doesn't have the same effect on men as cologne does on me!
Although: "Yes", huh? Probably wouldn't be allergic to that...

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 10:23:37 AM | I wear perfume all the time, when I go on a date. They like it a lot. I wear Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds. Very nice and sexy.
Yes, I like some cologne on a guy. I like the softer scents.
|
| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 10:26:30 AM | well it's been proven that women's smell is 5 times more sensitive than a mans so what you would think to b too little might be just about right for a female to get a good whiff of it and be satisfied.
Also depends on whether her nose is blocked or not lol
|
| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 10:26:44 AM | | I love it when the guy I am dating is wearing colonge....especially those musky ones..hhhmmmmmm. Don't like the ones that are too strong, too overpowering, but my personal favorite is Eternity, that drives me wild!! | |
|
| Does Men's COLOGNE really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 10:32:24 AM | i was christmas shopping with a female friend, we were playing in the mens cologne isle -she nearly melted down there, -(never saw her act/sound that way before) | |

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 11:25:51 AM | | oh yes a girl passing with a nice smelling perfume stops me dead in my tracks and i have to see who has it on .mmmm .I try not to make it to obvious ,some perfumes do it big time ...not to strong now ...moderation oh yes | |
|
| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 11:37:07 AM | Yes...it definately works!
With a few notable exceptions, you get what you pay for also...in terms of lasting power, understated elegance & subtleness of scent. My GF suggested one I hadn't tried before, so we took a trip to the mall. When I tried it on, she wispered in my ear "Oh dear God, take me home right now....you are SO gettting lucky!"
Needless to say, I made a purchase before leaving the store......quickly!

| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 12:52:23 PM | Now if somebody in here makes a reference to a hound dog, or anything like that, I'm leaving.
But, I actually tracked a guy through a club one nite, and I found him! He was wearing "Avon's musk for men". What is it with musk? I think guys could actuall bait traps with it, and catch their limit!
|
| Does perfume really work? Posted: 2/1/2007 2:46:47 PM | I like the smell of a man who just took a shower and got dressed in his man clothes! No cologne necessary! I'm not kidding either. There's a definite difference in the way women and men smell, and I love it when a man smells like a man. And, maybe I'm weird, but if a man's been working outside all day and isn't as clean-smelling as he was this morning, I like that smell, too. I'm never offended by a hard-working man.
I like most of the male colognes and don't really know one from the other. Except I still get weak-kneed and drool when I smell Brut. I can't help it. I LOVE it!!!!!
