I was 6 years older than my wife of 23 years...have an uncle that's been married for 30 years to a woman 30 years younger...when I was 52 I dated a 26 year old for a long time but she had kids ,I had kids...so now we're just best freinds. My oldest daughters is 25 and with a 37 year old. Age doesn't mean anything if you're into each other. In my opinion age can be a problem when other issues are involved . If I married a 24 ear old it would be rediculous because she'd have a step daughter a year older than her. But 38 and 29 is nothing my friend | |

Unfortunately that relationship didn't last - While we was on my mental level - he just couldn't keep up in other areas (I don't mean all sexual either). I'm a very energetic person. Even when they do sports etc but the skin, teeth, you name it - still give away the age. Women generally look after themselves.......however, I always think about that when I date someone 10-14 years younger. I think men try to kid themselves when they put on their profiles ages they want to date 20-15 years younger...........maybe they want to but who will let them............LOL | |

Usually it's other differences between people that make them incompatible - certainly some things that are associated with age can make a difference - but maturity (or immaturity) is not always directly correlated to age.
