what is a dork, anyways? someone who is shy? or someone who has difficulties in some social situations? or is old fashioned? has glasses? is homely (greasy)?
I think everyone has dorky aspects. Ignorance is dorky. Being uneducated but opinionated is dorky. Being fake is dorky. Being obsessed with video games/a particular sport/a political party/etc. is dorky. Just depends on your perspective.
My ex could have been called dorky. She was a marxist, a studious keener, super smart, a swing dancer, beautiful, had problems with pop culture references and was waiting for marriage. Gotta say, I'll take that over the flirty, clubslut, shoe-obsessed people who think they are just the coolest, and are the majority. | |
