My next door neighbour always makes k-d lasagna. She layers k-d and hamburger meat and tops it with grated cheese...I tried it today for my kid and bf and he liked it...I made it with gound moose meat tho...

| Bachelor’s casserole Posted: 4/15/2006 7:39:54 PM | Haha kraft dinner, please man im studying to be a chef and that stuff is garbage, u cant get laid with kraft dinner fool, its like a welfare food
Sure...if ya happen to like to cruise trailer parks
Nope....no food snobbery going on here....
BTW, the KD lasagna might be pretty good if you throw in some canned tomatoes and use good cheese....may as well make proper lasagna, though - it's not so hard. But for a quick supper, sounds like it might be worth a whirl....

| Bachelor’s casserole Posted: 4/15/2006 7:47:17 PM | actually I used onions as well...and would have used tomotoes if my bf didn't hate them...
Proper lasgana? sure. Next time I'll try that. If I didn't try K-D lasagna tho, my bf was claiming he was gonna leave me for my next door neighbour...

Posted: 4/19/2006 6:02:41 AM | 1) add individual serving cream of mushroom soup instead of milk 2) add a boil a bag (cooked) of cauliflower with cheese I do not live in a trailer park, and my income is over $70,000........if you love it...enjoy if you think you are too high class for it...perhaps try it with your caviar
PS: I totally love Hamburger Helper potatoe stroganoff

well i use the kraft dinner extra creamy or the white cheddar k dinner (actually i usually buy the master choice brand extra creamy it's almost half the price of craft and i find it tastes better for some reason) and i like to either mix a can of tuna with it once it's done (does taste good) or some times i cook cubed chicken breast in fresh jarred garlic and olive oil with salt and pepper then after serving the k dinner to the plates toss the chicken on top (mind you my five year old likes it on the side cause he doesn't like things mixed together).
left over k-dinner is good fried in butter/margarine with chopped green onions or chives and a little garlic powder or fresh garlic and some salt and pepper and dried parsley ........... makes the leftovers a little more bareable and adds the moisture back in.

| Bachelor’s casserole Posted: 4/20/2006 4:55:45 AM | | come on! It is fairly easy to create a good meal with fresh ingredients, a zillion times healthier and on a small budjet, but it need a bit of creativity and a bit more work! | |

Cook KD as directed on the box Fry up 1 lb of hamburg, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, and onions Add all together with a can of cream of mushroom soup (don't add the water to the soup) I also add salt, pepper, garlic, parsley and Mrs Dash for herbs and spices... Try this...ITS SO GOOD!!!!

| Use Real Cheese, Dammit Posted: 11/7/2006 10:40:40 AM | buy a few boxes and drop in the bin for the Food Bank then go home and make mac 'n cheese from scratch
My kids and myself thank you for that contribution..
here's some recipes;
Cooked KD with a can of cream mushroom soup and a can of drained tuna all mixed together .. personally i hate it but its the kids' father's fav and they love it.
Ground sausage fully browned mixed in cooked KD with extra marble cheese shredded over it
I skip the cheese and add canned stewed tomatoes to the cooked noodles and sliced hot dogs
