If I don't get at least 20 - I am calling it off. I don't want to come off as rude or anything - I just don't want to shell out the money for the place for yet another dud on POF.
I hope you understand. And I really do need to know soon. Like before I lose my deposit soon. I know that some people have already said they would come. This is great! But just to be sure, if you would please do so again.

I really don't understand it. I have offered a place that has activities, entertainment, cheap drinks and a ride if needed. And yet, nothing. I look at the number of times this post has been viewed and then I look at the responses left ??? Can someone give me some insight to this? What are your objections? Why are you here if you have no interest in meeting people? This is NOT a "singles party". I am not trying to play matchmaker. I am just someone that likes to meet new people and have a good time. How much good did you think that was going to do? And as for doing it again? I am going to have another one. But why should I bother even notifying people on here??? Everyone on here just talks and when the opportunity presents itself... they run and hide! This post was up for 3 months. Plenty of time for people to plan on coming. But rather than plan on coming - people spent their time planning an excuse. Regardless of your reason for joining - this IS a singles site. Next time you get a bright idea try organizing it better! Have a real post with all the facts in the first post. No one wants to read a bunch of shit because you can't make up your mind. If you had this idea from the start you should have posted it all from the beginning, and not claim that this has been up for three months, when the idea at whatever weird ass bar you picked was not posted for three months.
And people are not gonna go to some place they have never heard of just to get lost. You need to post address's and possibly maps. Just because you gave a name, doesn't mean people are going to be able to find it, esp ones that are not from around here. So you can blame this on everyone else, but really it was your own stupidity that left you there alone.
So next time your on a singles site before you post that people have no guts, maybe you ought to think about the repercussions. Because I'm sure you will never get mail again from this site. | |

Once I knew which Saturday was available, it was posted. The place didn't change, and the address was clearly posted for 5 weeks. As for the "no guts" thing - it was ment solely to insite some type of response from otherwise quiet people. And the advise you are offering, I wish you would have given it before the date - you had some valid points. If I came off as a jerk, my apologies. I guess that I just overprojected my dissapointment. I was just really looking forward to the night. I love being the host and I love my bar. Would have been cool to get every together and have a good time. | |
