NOT ON THE LABEL - What Really Goes Into the Food on your Plate : Felicity Lawrence

You wont want anything thats not farmed/grown locally after reading this.. and even then, you'll think twice if it's not organic.

I'm reading that one too and almost finished! I'm at that awful stage now where I want to find out what happens in the end, but I don't want the story to finish!

I am readying 'Bone Garden' by Tess Gerritsen. I suggest that anyone who likes Kathy Reichts or Patricia Cornwell has a look at the books by Tess Gerritsen.

Another good on is Karen Slauter.....

Adventures of the Artificial Woman by Thomas Berger. A great read for all those people who don't want to show their picture on POF yet have the audactiy to yell and condemn "SHALLOW" when asked to show their face!

I feel the need for light and fluffy reading, but I've also made myself not buy any books until I've read at least a few of the ones I already have. And I'm not sure I have any light and fluffy that I haven't read.

And the others that I have, which I now "have" to read, I don't want to read because it feels like required reading before I'm allowed a new book. Does that make sense?

Maybe I'll go to the library.

Bill Hicks - 'Love all the People', incredibly funny and massively underestimated, genius! In any event I needed something funny after my last book, Iain Banks 'The wasp factory'. My head fell off after that one!
