Posted: 6/6/2006 11:36:05 AM | Halfway through a collection of books by Jill Mansell. I think they are great like a really good chick flick, they make me laugh out loud, but also are really true to life and can tug on your hearts strings in other parts. I can't recommend them enough  | |

Read them before, much easier to read than all my work stuff!

Posted: 7/5/2006 4:26:13 PM | Currently reading "Being A Man" by Robert Twigger......and no I don't have any aspirations from it before anyone suspects. It is quite interesting though.
The best I ever read is "Dark Star Safari-Overland from Cairo to Cape Town" by Paul Theroux. I felt I was travelling that journey, experiencing the sights and sounds and meeting the people with him. Didn't need to go abroad that year.
Mike Gayle is a brilliant writer too for some light-hearted entertainment. | |

Posted: 7/6/2006 8:06:07 AM | ooh ive read that book also offlimits, its terrible, same as a ' a child called it' theres another 1 thats similar called 'sickened' thats about a girl whos mother has that disorder that makes there child ill, there is alot of sick people out there thats for sure. Since having the little lady i havent been able to bring myself to read those types of books. its way to upsetting.

I finished band of brothers, the da vinci code and have just read 'digital fortress' by dan brown as well - not as good as his others though.
have started to read 'holy blood and the holy grail' - its the book that dan brown used as inspiration for the davinci code.....its good, but very hard going | |
