Should marijuana be legalized....

It's not like mankind hasn't been wading thru fields of the stuff since we were cavemen, and amazingly without cave police we still (I was going to say advanced but that is a matter for another debate ) made it to this point without a big brother (look at the crap he says we should take...use..) telling us it's evil. Just common sense says if man is still around?
Look at the room we would have in the prison system alone to keep bankers and wall street execs.
Probably most health problems associated with it's use are most likely caused by the chemical defoliants and herbicides sprayed on it by none other than uncle sam. what are the side effects of smoking agent orange and diquat?

Time to dig it up again...

A pair of bills — House Bill 2929 and Senate Bill 1801 — seeking to “tax and regulate the cannabis industry” have just been introduced in the Massachusetts legislature.
These proposals seek to legally regulate the commercial production and distribution of marijuana for adults over 21 years of age. Like California’s proposal, they would impose licensing requirements and excise taxes on the retail sale of cannabis. By some estimates, these taxes could raise nearly $100 million in annual state revenue.
Adults who possess or grow marijuana for personal use, or who engage in the non-profit transfer of cannabis, would not be subject to taxation under the law.
You can read more about these bills at the new website: http://www.cantaxreg.com

This bill is even niftier than the california bill for it makes room for people to grow their own for personal consumption ie non-profit/no sale without being taxed! Which is the direction I think they should go anyways.

I am certain Michigan will be next. Since it is already legal in certain places in Michigan like Ann Arbor.
